Athletes of East Kazakhstan Region held a start on Independence Day

Independence Day of Kazakhstan. How can athletes celebrate it? Of course, doing what you love – competing with each other! Moreover, in this case, pleasant things can be combined with useful ones, because Kazakhstan Indoor Championships in different age categories are on the nose. The entire winter season of Kazakhstan will be held this year in Ust-Kamenogorsk, because only here there is an arena so decent that it would not be a shame to train the entire national athletics team of Kazakhstan. On Independence Day, 170 athletes of two age categories took part in the competition: 1998-99 and 2000-2001. The nearest national championship will be held at these ages. So the guys need to gain competitive experience. By the way, the current start may well claim the title of republican – not only Ustkamenogorsk athletes and track and field athletes from nearby towns and villages, a la Ridder, Semey and Belousovka, take part in the open championship of the school. Even the guys from Karaganda, Pavlodar and Almaty arrived! So there was also a chance to show your strength to your closest competitors. That is, to show yourself and look at others. On the first day of competition, the strongest were revealed in the 1500 m running (Alexander Lukyanov, Vlad Bakhtin, Regina Mitrofanova and Moldir Seitkhanova), shot put (Erica Kem, Daria Demchenko, Pavel Belogortsev, Artur Gafner), triple jump (Miras Kaidarov, Danil Pilyugin, Anastasia Sauer, Kristina Kharitonova), 400 m running (Nazar Terentyev, Zhandos Kumarbekov, Arina Saifullina, Alexandra Egorina) and high jump (Elizaveta Matveeva, Veta Kharitonova, Akylzhan Toktagalin, Georgy Ermolov). The novelty of the competition was the 50 m run. Strangely enough, there is such an athletics discipline, but it was tested in Ust-Kamenogorsk for the first time in a long time. And after all, they had never practiced running this distance before – after their debut on the “fifty kopecks” for the first time in their careers, Veta Kharitonova and Anastasia Zavodina from Ust-Kamenogorsk fulfilled the standards of Candidates for master of sports. The girls’ happiness simply had no limits. Besides them, Vlad Feshchenko and Viktor Kushnarev won the championship titles at this distance. Separately, I would like to note the success in the shot put of Erica Kem. By sending a projectile to 11.23 meters, this girl born in 1999 set a new personal record! Athletes of East Kazakhstan Region are preparing for the home Championship of Kazakhstan

Athletics competitions dedicated to the Day of the first President of Kazakhstan were held in Ust-Kamenogorsk on November 29-30. It so happened that the second day of the sports battles coincided with the birthday of another iconic figure for Kazakhstan – Olga Rypakova. So the boys and girls fought not only for themselves, but also for the Olympic Champion. The usual shouting and hubbub reigned in the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center for two days – more than 150 participants in two age groups 1998-99 and 2000-2001 gathered here to challenge for the title of the strongest. But it could well have been more, but the frosts outside the window probably discouraged many from going to the KShT. The past competitions have become one of the steps in the preparation of our athletes for the winter Championship of Kazakhstan among juniors, which will be held in Ust-Kamenogorsk in January this year. The next stage of preparation for the competition is planned in the arena for Independence Day. The most successful among the athletes were Orynul Zkrienova, who won four diplomas at once for first places in the 60 and 60 m hurdles, 200 m and long jump races. By the way, for each victory, a “Snickers” was also added to the diploma, so that after such successes, Oryngul did not gain a couple of extra kilograms. The guys of the older age category did not have a clear leader – Daniil Kuznetsov, Zhandos Kumarbekov and Miras Kaidarov each recorded two victories. Anastasia Zavodina, who won competitions in the long jump and triple jump, as well as in the 60 m race, stood out in the younger age category. Lev Lagutin distinguished himself among the guys, who won the hurdles and triple jump. The results of the competition. Age category 1998-99 RUNNING 3000 M. Girls: 1. Open city athletics tournament among senior and junior boys 1998-1999 2000-2001

Open city athletics tournament among senior and junior boys born 1998-1999 2000-2001 November 29-30, 2014 at the Athletics Center “Olga Rypakova” will be held an Open city athletics tournament among senior and junior boys born 1998-1999 2000-2001 dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The schedule of sports events is presented below

Little masters in the big arena

On October 19, the Ust-Kamenogorsk Presidential All-Around Championship among juniors of different age categories, starting from 1997, was held at the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center. However, the sports facility, from which the lion’s share of the regional center’s sports news has recently been released, was filled not only by professional polyathletes, the website reports 1720.kz . Competitions were held only in the athletics disciplines of polyathlon, as well as strength exercises: pull-ups on the crossbar for boys and push-ups for girls. So professional track and field athletes, fox hunters, and orienteering specialists joined in identifying the strongest. The competition program also includes running for 60 meters, stayer distances from 500 to 2000 meters and long jumps. So the company of honor fighters was more than impressive. And to climb the podium when more than 150 people who did not happen to become winners and prize–winners are looking at you is worth a lot. The champions in different age categories were Anna Parfenova, Rustem Kartaev, Kanagat Manashev, Ilyas Isagedin, Alexander Akhov, Egor Pavlenko, Alexandra Bochkareva, Nazira Nurtanova, Victoria Medvedeva, Natalia Dresvyanikova. The second places were taken by Anastasia Mavrina, Nikita Kochergin, Sergey Dmitriev, Sultan Bazarbekov, Ilyas Tleukhanov, Alexander Gruzinov, Ananina Ekaterina, Tatyana Samoilova, Angelina Kuzmina. Certificates for the third place were awarded to Svetlana Malezhina, Artur Darmenbayev, Tyutenkov Vasily, Ayan Kairgaziev, Kenzhebekov Duman, Baybol Abilkan, Sergey Silin, Evgenia Noskova, Troegubova Daria, Pavlenko Polina. Olga Rypakova presented a car to a sports school

The athletes of the East Kazakhstan region, who won medals at the Asian Games and World Championships, were honored at the O. Rypakova Athletics Arena, reports 1720.kz Ruslan Kurbanov and Dmitry Gryaznov (both sword fencing, 3rd place in AI), Rasul Kaliev (freestyle wrestling, 2nd) received certificates for receiving prizes for various amounts place in AI), Dastan Ykybaev (Judo, 3rd place in AI), Zere Bektaskyzy (sambo, 1st place in the World Championship) and Alina Belan (arm wrestling, 1st place in the World Championship). And, of course, Olga Rypakova, who brought the only “gold” from Incheon to east Kazakhstan. The handball player Polina Mikhailova, who won the bronze medal at the Asian Games as part of the national team, was supposed to receive her award from the hands of Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Berdybek Saparbayev, but her team was playing at that time, so our extreme striker could not escape. – I was just terribly worried, – Olga Rypakova admits. – Especially since I was faced with the task of winning gold and only gold. Of course, I was not at my best yet, but the result shown in Incheon allowed me to earn a gold medal. The competitions themselves were emotionally difficult – they lasted a very long time. We were in the sector for more than two hours Berdybek Saparbayev handed the keys to the Skoda Rapid car to Olga Rypakova, but the Olympic Champion immediately decided to transfer the car to the sports school, which now bears her name. Rasul Kaliyev received a certificate for half a million tenge. Dastan Ykybaev, Dmitry Gryaznov, Ruslan Kurbanov and Sergey Alekseev (coach of Olga Rypakova) received 300,000 tenge each. The certificate for receiving 150 thousand tenge was received by the coach of Dastan Ykybayev, Turmys Khalelov, and Alina Belan, Zere Bektaskyzy and Sergey Ananyev (coach of Kurbanov and Gryaznov) – 50 thousand less. And finally, the coaches of the world champions Yerlan Ualiyev and Birzhan Imakhanov “got rich” by 50 thousand tenge. Athletics competitions within the framework of the Zhastar Spartakiad were held in Ust-Kamenogorsk

Comprehensive athletics competitions among schoolchildren were held in Ust-Kamenogorsk on October 15. The best of the best will represent the city at the regional children’s Games “Sauletai” in 2015, the website reports 1720.kz . About 350 eighth-graders and eighth-graders of Ust-Kamenogorsk gathered today at the athletics center named after him. Olga Rypakova, to identify those who are worthy to perform under the flag of the regional center at the Sauletai Games. The students had to compete in the 60-meter races, long jump and 400 m (for girls) and 800 m (for boys). The competitions were held within the framework of the XXII Summer Spartakiad of schoolchildren “Zhastar”.

Denis Rypakov: “We will stay in Ust-Kamenogorsk all winter”

– The Asian Games in Incheon have become the most successful for Kazakhstan in terms of winning gold medals in its history. What are your personal impressions of the Games? – The competitions themselves and the organization were held at the highest professional level. In four years, the level of athletics in Asia has grown significantly. Asian immigrants are “catching up”, and in some cases improving world records. The results are in the top three or top ten of the season in the world. So there is no longer such a thing that you can win at the Asian Games without really straining. This is already a world-class competition. In Asia, sport is gradually gaining significant proportions. I would like to congratulate Olga Safronova, Margarita Mukasheva and other guys. These are labor victories that were won very beautifully in a worthy competition. But we still need to work very hard so that we have a lot of high-level athletes in Kazakhstan in general and East Kazakhstan Region in particular. Thank God, our athletics school is good.  – I would like to focus on Olga Rypakova’s performance separately. How ready is she to compete with the new stars of the triple jump and what does her result in 14.32 m tell us? – As for Olga Rypakova, the result that we showed was designed only to bring the country “gold”. Our Olympic champion has already recovered, this victory has now also added confidence that she can do anything. There is potential, it has not gone away. Now our main goal is the Olympics. And, of course, the World Cup, which will be held in August 2015 in Beijing. We now have somewhere to prepare – the arena has been built, so conditions are now available at Home. We will travel less for training camps, we will be in Ust-Kamenogorsk all winter. Olga will definitely perform at the home winter Championship of Kazakhstan, which will be held in mid-February. – How much has the level of competition in the triple jump changed compared to Guangzhou? – I stayed at about the same level. Olga has now become a three-time champion of the Asian Games. In general, it is difficult to make a breakthrough in the triple jump in Asia. Apparently, there are not enough coaches there who would teach you how to jump correctly. – That’s why, before the Olympic Games in London, China tried to poach Olga Rypakova’s coach and father Sergei Alekseev… – Yes, then only patriotism helped. It was unthinkable for the coach to go there, raise a Chinese woman so that she would come and win against our girls! – There were only four people representing East Kazakhstan Region in Incheon. Is it not enough? After all, our region is used to positioning itself as one of the leaders of athletics in Kazakhstan. What is the problem now? – Athletes have a lot of near-sports problems. Work, study, family. And it turns out that sometimes they occur when an athlete needs to show a serious result. And it gets in the way. Do not forget about the overall growth in the level of results in Asia. Let’s say that earlier, with a score of 2.22 m, it was possible to take a prize in the high jump at the Asian Games. Now you can’t even get into the top ten with such a jump. – What can be done about the distractions of athletes now? – Provide support. Psychological, financial. If an athlete has the potential to win a medal, it is necessary to provide him with financial assistance, pay attention, discuss plans with the coach. To keep abreast of the development of athletics in our area. It is very difficult to keep a child in sports now. And we have a lot of talented children. But there are many other entertainments, temptations, and our task is to direct the guys in the right direction.  – There were rumors in Ust-Kamenogorsk that it was simply impossible to get into new sports facilities. To the athletics arena too. How much is athletics available now? – Absolutely anyone who wants to study can come to us. We accept from the age of 10, but if a boy or girl is physically developed at a younger age, then we can take them to the section from the age of eight. Previously, it was impractical to engage in athletics and even dangerous for children’s health. You only need three documents: a school certificate, parental permission and a health certificate. The new arrivals will even have the opportunity to choose a coach. These misconceptions are absolutely made up and often arise from the fact that people believe those who themselves know little.  – You attended the meeting with the head of the IOC, Thomas Bach. How did the event go, and what are the results? – The issue of holding the 2022 Olympic Games in Almaty was on the agenda. As you know, there are only two candidates left: Almaty and Beijing. And before Bach’s visit to the Southern Capital, the capital of China was the favorite. But when he arrived in Almaty, the head of the IOC was surprised by how compactly the sports facilities are located in the city. Many of them are located within the city limits, so there will be no question of transport links. I would really like Almaty to become the capital of the Olympic Games, especially since we already have the experience of holding major competitions. – Recently, the idea was put forward again, as in 2011, to divide the Games between Almaty and Astana. Are you for or against separation? – On the one hand, the separation will add interest, athletes and TV viewers will be able to get acquainted with two Kazakh cities at once, but this will cause a lot of pressure on the transport system. Thousands of fans will want to make it to the competitions in Almaty and the competitions
