On May 19, 2015, during a meeting of the East Kazakhstan Region (EKR) akim Danial Akhmetov with the regional sports community, the achievements of sports schools were presented, including the EKR State Specialized Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve in Athletics.
The personal record of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova was prominently displayed right at the entrance.
