The XXXV Kazakhstan Athletics Championships, the country’s premier athletics competition, have officially started in Astana. The championships are being held from July 22 to 24 and have brought together the nation’s strongest athletes from all regions of Kazakhstan.
East Kazakhstan Region is represented by 35 athletes competing in 21 events. Following the first day of competition, the region’s athletes achieved the following results:

The Kazakhstan Athletics Championships will continue through July 24. Over the next two days, athletes from East Kazakhstan Region will continue competing for medals.
