Rypakova conducted her first training sessions as part of the training camp on April 1, under the guidance of her father and coach, Sergey Alekseyev.
“During the camp, the focus will be on refining the technical elements of the jump,” Olga’s husband and coach, Denis Rypakov, who currently remains in Ust-Kamenogorsk, told our correspondent. “Olga will have her first start of the season in Shanghai on May 17, as part of the first stage of the Diamond League. We shouldn’t expect a major result there, but this start will provide information on how to structure her preparation for future competitions.”
In addition to this event, Olga will compete in the Kazakhstan Spartakiad in Almaty in early July and, of course, the World Championships in China in August of this year.
