Attempt number two

On April 24, the first stage of the Asian Grand Prix competition started in China, where three athletes from East Kazakhstan took part. Recall that in the first stage, unfortunately, only the runner from Ridder Elina Mikhina managed to win the prize. The girl became the vice-champion in the 400 m with a score of 53.35 s, losing first place to Vietnamese athlete Kuach Ti Lan. But for the high-rise athletes from Semey, representing Kazakhstan at this tournament, the competition did not start very well. Nadezhda Dubovitskaya and Regina Kaisarova took the fourth and fifth places in the final protocol. The second stage of the Asian Grand Prix was held in Jiaxing today. And I would like to say that for the athletes from East Kazakhstan region, it ended very much in two ways. For example, for Mikhina, this start became more vivid, because the girl managed to improve her result by 0.56 (52.79 s) and climbed a step higher, having already won a gold medal this time! Also, in the second stage, the jumper Nadezhda Dubovitskaya managed to get into the list of winners. Nadia won the bronze medal with a score of 175 cm, and Regina Kaisarova became the seventh – 170 cm. The final stage of the Asian Grand Prix competition, which will be held in Taipei on April 30, awaits Kazakhstani athletes. In the meantime, we wish the athletes to gain more strength, because there are very few left! Inna Semenyak

Olga Rypakova was the first to receive a diploma from Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Danial Akhmetov

The Olympic champion, multiple medalist of the world championships in athletics in the triple jump, managed to communicate with schoolchildren and become an ornament of the ceremony honoring athletes in East Kazakhstan region. This ceremony took place yesterday at the regional drama theater. Olga Rypakova’s online conference with schoolchildren of our region preceded the celebration of the best athletes of East Kazakhstan Region following the results of the winter season and some other events. Communication took place at the base KSU “Scientific Research specialized center – school – complex of developmental education “Vostok” for gifted children” of the Department of Education of East Kazakhstan region. – It was a pleasure for me to talk with schoolchildren about sports and a healthy lifestyle, – the website quotes Olga Rypakova as saying altaynews.kz . – It doesn’t matter what kind of sport a child does, even basic fitness in the gym, it will always benefit both body and spirit. The more healthy people there are, the stronger our nation will become. Well, in the evening, Olga Rypakova became the first of more than 50 athletes and sports functionaries who were awarded prizes from the hands of the head of the region. And this is despite the fact that so far the Prima athletics of Kazakhstan has simply had no chance to win something big this season. Only in June, the Olympic champion will start in the Diamond League. Alexey Gubanov A source: vksport.kz

The city athletics championship has ended in Ust-Kamenogorsk.

On the second day of the championship, athletics competitions were held in two places in the city at once. At the Olympian sports complex, athletes competed in throwing disciplines, and at the Vostok stadium, children competed in running. Daria Demchenko showed a bright performance in running disciplines. The girl became the leader in the 100 m hurdles, and also took second place in the 200 m, finishing right after Alexandra Egorina, with a score of 27.1 s. Perhaps, among the runners, this is the only athlete who managed to win several awards today. But among the throwers, there are much more distinguished athletes. Leila Tolegenova became the two-time champion of the city among female athletes born in 2002-2003, she managed to take first places in the hammer throw and discus throw. Margarita Liventsova, by the way, from the same age category as Tolegenova, won the status of the best in the shot put with a score of 9.39 m, and also Margarita became the second, after Leila, in the discus throw – 24.52 m. Among the older girls, Yerkezhan Kadylbekova completed the competition with two titles. In the shot put, the athlete took first place, but in the discus throw she was on the second line of the final protocol with a score of 22.67 m. Sergey Krasheninnikov, Dmitry Gusev and Zharasp Kozhakhmetov managed to take several prizes for the guys today, discus throwing and shot put became successful for them. Roman Grigoriev managed to distinguish himself from these guys, the athlete won awards in three disciplines at once: shot put, discus throw and javelin throw. Now the strongest athletes of Ust-Kamenogorsk will be selected for the regional athletics championship. We will find out the list of participants a little later! Olga Rypakova: “We think the land of London will help us!”

In early April, the leading athletes of the Republic of Kazakhstan began a training camp in Antalya. All athletes went to work out in warm Turkey with the exception of Olga Rypakova At this time, the Olympic champion is engaged in the walls of her native Ustkamenogorsk athletics center. Rypakova’s first competitions will start on the eighth of June in Rome. The annual Diamond League will be held in the Italian capital. – We are preparing at the Ustkamenogorsk base. All conditions for high-quality training have been created here,” Denis Rypakov shared. – Olga’s first start will take place in Rome in June, so it’s too early to go to warmer climes (smiles). There will be no competitions before that, she will immediately go to the Diamond League. The preparation is going well, everything is according to plan! Ahead of us lies the main start of this year – the World Cup, which will be held in London. Today, just after the training process, we managed to talk with Olga herself. – Now the strongest athletes of our country have training camps in Turkey, but you stayed in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Tell us, what mode are you currently working in? – I practice a little bit in a different mode, not like the whole national team. My starts are later, so I’m just a little bit behind. But we are training according to the plan, now, more strength and functional training. Other athletes are already training at the stadium, but I don’t need these conditions yet. We’ll get to them a little later! – The Diamond League starts on May 5 in less than a month. Would you like to hear comments about these competitions? – I don’t have any starts in May yet, then there will be other types of athletics. The triple jump competition will begin in June. That’s why I have a slightly stretched workout. We will keep an eye on other athletes for now, it’s interesting to see the results! – What kind of shape are you in now? How do you feel? – I’m in a very working mood right now! It’s pretty hard training at the moment. We are doing everything to gain a base on which it will be possible to build special training. The most basic work for the whole season is underway now! – The World Championship will be held in London in August. Don’t you think it’s symbolic? – To be honest, yes (smiles). We love this city very much! We have good memories with him, there is a favorable atmosphere there. Of course, I want everything to turn out the way we planned. We will be preparing very purposefully for this World Cup. – Are there any worries before this season? – Yes, of course. There is a sports jitters, but I think this is the right adrenaline rush. He helps me in competitions, you can say that I feel out of place without him. If there is no feeling of excitement at all, then some kind of apathy sets in. For me, it should be present at any competition, be it the national championship or the World Championship. Through these experiences, you set goals for yourself, and you want them to be achieved. That’s when you realize what you’ve been preparing for. First of all, it is a great responsibility to yourself! Inna Semenyak A source: vksport.kz
