Anastasia Rypakova Wins Silver at the Asian U23 Championships

Kazakhstani athlete Anastasia Rypakova won the silver medal at the inaugural Asian U23 Athletics Championships, taking place from July 9 to 12 in Ordos, China. In the women’s long jump final, the representative of Kazakhstan recorded a best leap of 6.11 m, finishing second behind China’s Huang Yinyin, who claimed the gold medal with a jump of 6.48 m. The bronze medal was won by Vietnam’s Ha Thi Thuy Hang, who achieved 6.10 m. Anastasia Rypakova’s silver medal became Kazakhstan’s first medal at the debut Asian U23 Athletics Championships.
