A Marathon for the Little Ones

The participants included 70 children aged 5-6, consisting of primary school students and children from kindergartens and mini-centers. Each group prepared a short folk dance: the children showcased the various ethnicities living in Kazakhstan and around the world, illustrating their mutual friendship. The marathon showcased the cultures of 18 different nations from around the world. Additionally, the children enjoyed a dance warm-up, an “Imitation” game where they mimicked various animals, and, of course, an “Awarding” ceremony. Each participant received a plush toy as a gift from the City Education Department. The dance marathon, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, not only introduced the audience and participants to diverse cultures but also demonstrated how the Assembly, through its long journey of development, has fostered the cohesion and unity of all ethnic groups.
