On July 11, employees of the tax sphere celebrated their professional holiday with sports competitions, which, as you know, took place on July 9. The competition was held at the athletics center named after Olga Rypakova. Unlike the action with employees of the banking system that took place a month ago, the Olympic champion herself, whose name the athletics center bears, was not at the event. However, there were plenty of good impressions, the joy of fighting for first places and unforgettable moments of triumph. Three teams came together in the sports relay races: “Fortuna”, representing the Tax Department of East Kazakhstan Region, “Dostar” from the city Administration and “Luck”, which became a national team of tax specialists from Ulan and Glubokovsky districts. Each team consisted of a dozen people, five representatives of both sexes. The competition program consisted of “fun starts”, tug of war, jumping from a place, shot put and relay 10 to 100 m. The champions of this kind of “Spartakiad” were the athletes of “Fortuna”, who became the first in the four stages of the “fun starts”, in tug of war, shot put and relay. The champion, as they say, was determined on an uncontested basis. The winners of the Cup for the second place were the members of the Dostar team. They were lucky enough to win in the game “crossing” in the “fun starts” program, as well as in jumping from a place. Well, the third place was won by “Luck”. Many representatives of this team, due to their age data, could not compete on equal terms with younger rivals, but they fought to the end. And in the tug of war, they turned out to be stronger than the youth from Dostar! However, the tax authorities of the region did not celebrate only sports competitions on this day. In front of the facade of the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center, there is now a small alley of nine trees planted by representatives of the Tax Department and their colleagues. Celebration of Sports Day in Ust-Kamenogorsk On August 15, 2014, Ust–Kamenogorsk hosted a number of events dedicated to the celebration of Sports Day. On the morning before the Sports Day, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of East Kazakhstan Region, together with the city authorities, organized mass gymnastics in Ust-Kamenogorsk. About 1,500 people did exercises that day, the website reports 1720.kz . Representatives of the Shygys-Svinetsstroy volleyball club, civil servants, the Vostok football club, athletes from the regional center and many others came to warm up early on Friday morning. The lesson was conducted by employees of the Astana Fitness club, as well as a group of cheerleaders from among those involved in this sport in the Schoolchildren’s Palace. – Participation in such actions is, first of all, fun, – track and field athlete Yulia Tsaregorodtseva shares her impressions. – In addition, such events contribute to the unity of Ust-Kamenogorsk sports teams, because not only we, athletes, but also representatives of many other sports came here. The athletics center was visited by the participants of the forum, women akims of rural districts, Almaty, Karaganda and Pavlodar regions. At 13:00, athletics competitions among girls and boys born in 1997 were held at the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center.
