On February 22-23, Karaganda hosted the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship among junior boys and girls born in 2004 – 2005–

At this start, our athletes noticeably distinguished themselves, namely: Valeria Bromat, Arina Gladysheva, Mikhail Gorlov, Egor Zolotarev and Rauan Bakhtybaev.

Valeria Bromat, one of the fastest East Kazakhstan runners, was among those who brought far more than one medal to the piggy bank of our region.

In the 60 m run, the girl became the winner (7.96 s), by the way, she became the only finalist who managed to run out of 8 s.

It is not for nothing that Bromat is called a universal athlete, because she also managed to get into the number of prize-winners in the long jump. Valeria came second with a score of 5.48 m. Only Elizaveta Fedoruk, an athlete from the Karaganda region, “flew away” from her.

Another “silver” on the account of the athlete turned out to be based on the results of her performance in the 4 200 m relay team. together with Regina Behnke, Anastasia Rypakova and Olga Biryukova – 1:52.20.

Arina Gladysheva lived up to all expectations, twice becoming the winner of gold medals at distances of 1000 and 2000 m. With which we congratulate her!

By the way, Egor Zolotorev pleased the guys in the 1000 m race with his performance. The young man finished first – 2:51.10.

Mikhail Gorlov, as well as our girls, made a great contribution to this championship. In the 600 m run, the athlete snatched the victory, beating the opponent from the North Kazakhstan region by 1 second (1:33.74)! By the way, another athlete from East Kazakhstan Region Dmitry Lyapunov took third place in the same race.

The distance of half that brought Gorlov a bronze award. The result of the athlete is 40.19 seconds.

Rauan Bakhtybayev was the second in the final protocol in the 60 m hurdles. In the preliminary race, the runner won 0.4 s – 9.06 s.

But Rauan won the gold award in the long jump – 6.02 m. Danil Pavlyuk from Shymkent landed in second place three centimeters away from him, and North Kazakhstan athlete Arsen Umerzhanov took third place – 5.89 m.

In the team competition, the East Kazakhstan region took 2nd place (20,910 points).
