The Kazakhstan Youth Athletics Championship and “International competitions for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova

The first set of awards was played by the shot putters. The championship among girls turned into a match meeting between athletes from East Kazakhstan region and Karaganda region. Two representatives from each region completed six attempts, the most successful of which was on the account of Ekaterina Nesterova from Karaganda – 13.63 m. Olga Khizhnyakova from Semey became the second with the best push at 12.7 m. It is curious that all the athletes showed their best results during the preliminary stage. Ekaterina Anoshkina from Karaganda received the diploma for the third place. The girls also “finished” in the same order in the international tournament for the prizes of Rypakova. As a prize, the organizing committee awarded the girls certificates for 15, 25 and 50 thousand tenge in accordance with the occupied places.

The guys just had Evgeny Milovatsky from the Mangystau region out of competition. No one could even get close to his result of 14.93 m.

Volchek and Ektova are the strongest in the long jump sector. Long jump competitions were held within the framework of the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship among Youth, as well as the International Tournament for O. Rypakova’s prizes.

The main favorite, Ekaterina Ektova from North Kazakhstan Region, won the championship among adults, becoming one of only two athletes who managed to jump over the 6 meter mark. Natalia Volchek can well thank Providence for her victory in the youth Championship of Kazakhstan – her advantage over vice-champion Irina Semenova was only 3 cm! There were no East Kazakhstan Region athletes among the participants.

Roman Loshkarev from Almaty, despite the fact that he did not come out of youth age, managed to “jump over” all the experienced high-rise athletes of the country and win both the youth Championship of Kazakhstan and the tournament for the prizes of Olga Rypakova.

Roman was the only one who could jump above 210 centimeters, so he had to “take” the last three heights alone. Loshkarev stopped only when the bar rose to the level of 2.19 m.

One of the least representative sports in Kazakhstan is pole vaulting. So at the youth championship of Kazakhstan, only two athletes competed for awards.

Both of them represented the same city – Almaty. Zhanna Bekbauova managed to jump 3.3 m and won a diploma for the first place.

2. Victoria Kibler (Almaty) – 3.00 m

Sprint “showdown” at the national youth Championship. The final 60 m races turned out to be more than spectacular.

For girls in the national championship among athletes under 23, everything was decided in a matter of fractions of a second – the first place was separated from the third by only 0.02 seconds! Rima Kashafutdinova from Karaganda won in such a super competition. The advantage of Temirlan Suleimenov over Vitaly Zems was the same. But in the championship among adults for the prizes of Olga Rypakova, the winners – Victoria Zyabkina and Alexander Viktorenko – were simply out of competition.

the triumph of the Almaty school of athletics. Marina Zaiko won a difficult victory in the competition of the fairer sex, and Andrei Sokolov was the only one who was able to “run out” of 49 seconds.

The winners of the 1500 m were determined. The best stayers of the first competition day were athletes from Almaty and Karaganda.

Strangely enough, it turned out to take part in the 1500 m race much more than the tracks of the O. Rypakova athletics center could accommodate, so it was necessary to identify the strongest among men in two races. All the prize-winners participated in the race of the strongest, of which Alexey Gusarov emerged the winner. Olga Bogomolskaya from Pavlodar led the girls in the only race for a long time, but on the last lap she was pushed first by Tatyana Palkina, and then by Victoria Ryzhikova.

It is worth noting a certain success of the young representative of East Kazakhstan Moldir Seitkhanova from Ridder. Being at least three years younger than most of the participants in the race, the Ridder stayer managed to become the fourth, losing only 4 seconds to the bronze medalist.

4. Moldir SEITKHANOVA (East KAZAKHSTAN Region) – 4:55.59

Evgeny Chettykbayev became the second in the triple jump at the Olga Rypakova prize tournament. Yevgeny Chettykbayev, who specializes in the triple jump, became the second “inhabitant” of the podium from East Kazakhstan Region after Olga Khizhnyakova.

Roman Valiev from Pavlodar was, perhaps, out of competition today – he “jumped” our bronze medalist of the Asian Games, Chettykbayev, by more than half a meter. However, in the confrontation between Eugene and Roman, the most important thing will happen only in the summer, so Eugene should only regret the lost prize money here.

In the Kazakhstan Youth Championship, the final attempts brought the result. So Dmitry Zaichkov “flew away” by 14.45 m only in the last jump and won the diploma for the first place. Samorodov and Kuzhilin also showed their best results in the final attempts, but this was not enough to beat the champion. Even if only a little bit.

Regina Sarsekova – two awards in one jump. Two diplomas for the second place will be awarded at once following the results of the high jump competition among girls in the framework of the national youth championship

In the high jump sector, the girls had seven participants, four of whom represented East Kazakhstan Region. Alas, our countrymen failed to occupy the entire podium. Veta Kharitonova, by virtue of her 16-year-old age, cannot compete for awards in a confrontation with girls 3-4 years older. Therefore, the result of 160 cm is not bad. With this jump, Veta repeated her personal best, by the way.

But from Alexandra Krivitskaya, Olga Belozerova and Regina Sarsekova, it is already worth waiting for the result. And all three representatives showed exactly the same result. As if by agreement, our trio took a height of 172 cm, but this time none of the athletes of East Kazakhstan Region succeeded in higher jumps. Moreover, Svetlana Zubova from South Kazakhstan Region showed the same 172 cm, so the number of attempts spent was the decisive factor in the fight for awards. Belozerova and Krivitskaya, alas, were unlucky – they had one extra jump in their passivity. And Sersekova and Zubova “sawed” the second place in half. The victory was won by Tatyana Yakimkina from Karaganda, who took 176 cm, which was enough to win.

Moldir Seitkhanova wins the bronze medal of the national Youth Championship. The 16-year-old Ridder stayer created a sensation!

Moldir Seitkhanova, even at a distance of one and a half kilometers, forced attention to herself, taking fourth place among senior athletes. However, she did not settle for this, and won a diploma for the third place in the Kazakhstan Youth Championship! At the same time, the youngest of her rivals is three years older than our young starlet! Along the way, Moldir improved her personal best by 4 seconds at once! In general, I did everything I could.

Tatiana Palkina and Danil Melnikov confirmed their titles of champions by winning both stayer races. Recall that yesterday the same athletes competed at a distance of 1,500 m.

Daria Shushenkova is the third in the tournament for the prizes of Olga Rypakova. The women’s triple jump competition in the First Olga Rypakova Prize tournament turned out to be full of drama.

Daria Shushenkova, a pupil of the Ust-Kamenogorsk athletics school, has not competed in big competitions for a long time. Therefore, it was interesting to see what form she is in now. As it turned out, it was enough to claim victory in a single tournament.

There were only 4 girls in the triple jump section who participated in the Olga Rypakova tournament. However, this does not mean that everything was predetermined from the beginning. On the contrary, the intrigue has spun to the limit. After the first attempt, Dilara Abuova from North Kazakhstan Region took the lead with a jump of 11.94 m – not the result to talk about something serious. Already in the second jump, Shushenkova overlaps this result by almost a meter – 12.75 m, but even this attempt did not allow her to come forward because of the same Abuova, who managed to jump only 2 centimeters further! These jumps of the two girls remained the strongest until the penultimate attempt.

And then Irina Ektova, who had been “ambushed” by the spades before, said her word. Four consecutive failed attempts, and only the fifth at 13.26 m, it seems, finally decided the question of the winner. By that time, Shushenkova had “issued” two spades in a row, so Daria left herself only one attempt to win back the ill-fated 2 cm from the competitor for second place. But the sixth jump of the hostess of the competition turned out to be about the same – 12.7 m, and this is a guaranteed diploma for the third place. But Abuova still managed to jump over the 13-meter mark in the final jump. So she got her “silver” quite deservedly.

“Double blow” by Zkrienova and “silver” by Soprunova. 16-year-old Oryngul Zknrienova won the title of Champion of Kazakhstan among youth, and even earned extra money in the tournament for the prizes of Olga Rypakova.

The only first place of the East Kazakhstan Region athletics team in the Kazakhstan Youth Championship was won by junior Oryngul Zkrienova, who competed with girls much older than herself in the 60 m hurdles. With a result of 9 seconds, she lost the final race only to the much more experienced Anastasia Soprunova, a participant in the Olympic Games, for a second, and Aigerim Shynyzbekova from Almaty.

The duel of the above-mentioned athletes has become a decoration of the hurdles. Soprunova lost to a younger competitor by only 0.03 seconds!

The vice-champion of the Asian Games wins the first title in the new year. Svetlana Ivanchukova won the championship title in the 200 m running at the youth championship of Kazakhstan.

Svetlana Ivanchukova finished, perhaps, with the largest margin that was shown at this championship in the sprint disciplines. If not a carriage, then a bus would easily fit between Svetlana and Roma Kashafutdinova!

Vlad Leshin is the second in the four hundred meters at the Olga Rypakova prize tournament. A two-lap race at the athletics arena named after Olga Rypakova was the most successful for Mikhail Litvin from North Kazakhstan region.

Even on the first day of competition, when the preliminary 400 m race took place, Vlad showed a result that was much worse than many participants of the youth championship of Kazakhstan. And I thought – the finale is about to break out, and Leshin will definitely be “eaten” by ambitious young people.

But no! Vlad not only gave a decent rebuff to all rivals, but also led for two and a half laps. Only in the final hundred meters Leshin was overtaken by Mikhail Litvin from North Kazakhstan region, and the rest turned out to be far from our countryman. As a result, Leshin became the second and honestly earned 25 thousand tenge, which was allocated by the head of the regional Athletics Federation Denis Rypakov, who himself specialized in sports years at this distance.
