The Kazakhstan Championship in throwing events, race walking, and road running has concluded in Almaty.

March 27 to 29, 2026, has come to an end. The East Kazakhstan Region team delivered strong performances, winning multiple medals across various disciplines.

In the women’s discus throw, Arina Mozulyako became the U20 champion and met the qualification standard for the Asian Championships, while Arina Dudchenko took second place in the U23 category. In the 10 km race walk, Arina Gladysheva won a bronze medal in the U23 category.

In the javelin throw, both women and men achieved excellent results: Natalia Sokolova placed first in the U23 category, and Varvara Nazarova won in the senior category. Among men, Artur Gafner claimed first place, while Alexey Khlystov finished second.

In the hammer throw, Anastasia Kaloshina won gold in the senior women’s category, Valeria Loginova (U23) took second place, and Viktoria Shataeva (U20) finished third. Among men, Oleg Lyubimov (senior) and Aldiyar Kairollaev (U20) became champions, while Maksim Torlopov placed second in the U23 category.

In the overall team standings, East Kazakhstan Region finished 3rd with a total of 12,114 points. Full competition results will be published later.
