This significant and long-awaited event pleased not only the numerous participants of the championship, but also all East Kazakhstan fans of the Queen of sports. In addition, the regional championship is a good start to the athletics season for athletes and for the Olga Rypakova center.
– These starts certainly revealed new names and worthy results, – said the chief judge of the competition, Alexander Kruglikov. – We are also proud that this regional championship was held at the highest level. For the first time in the history of athletics in East Kazakhstan, everything is organized according to international requirements and standards, using an electronic chronometer.
Bright victories were noted in each age category, especially among the fair sex. Ust-Kamenogorsk athlete Anastasia Zavodina, born in 2000, performed brilliantly, who managed to take three first places at once: in the 50 and 200 meters, and also distinguished herself in the long jump. Congratulations to Nastya and her coach Lyudmila Peshko!
Another participant from the regional center, Oryngul Zkrienova, was awarded three highest awards. The ward of coaches Nadezhda Lukashina and Meruert Kelemedenova surprised the judging team by showing a time above the standard of a candidate for master of sports in the 50-meter hurdles. Semey athletes, students of coaches Ivan and Elena Khizhnyakov, have once again confirmed the title of one of the best high jump schools. So, Nadezhda Dubovitskaya, born in 1998, overcame the bar at a height of 1 meter 65 cm (first place), and Alexandra Krivitskaya was in the lead among juniors with a result five centimeters higher.
Nazar Terentyev from Ridder distinguished himself among the younger boys, who won in the 400 and 800 meters (the coaches are the Podkorytov family). Ust-Kamenogorsk’s Zhandos Kumarbekov (Rashida Lushpai’s coach) won among the older boys in the same sports. Glubokov junior sprinter Vladislav Sutyagin performed well.
It is worth noting the excellent performance of the guys: Artur Khabibullin, Timur Parygin, Andrey Lavrushenko, Rinat Tashkent, Ivan Dmitriev (Semey), Danil Dzhanikashvili, Artur Gafner, Alexey Shmakov, Ramis Kartaev, Yerbol Kalenov (Ust-Kamenogorsk), Sergei Unzhakov, Kanat Kizatolada, Maxim Zuzin (Ridder) and many others.
– According to the results of the team wrestling, the athletes of Ust-Kamenogorsk won, the Semeyites took the second position, the Ridders took the third, – added the judge of the international category Alexander Kruglikov. – In the near future, the sports community of the city is waiting for a number of even larger athletics competitions. In February, the regional center will host three republican championships among young men, youth and adult athletes for the first time, as well as two open international starts for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova.
