Competitions for the prizes of the most productive athletics of Kazakhstan were held in the National Athletics Center. As always, the organizers of the event approached their business very responsibly: a show, a dance, a professional presenter, an ardent mascot, a live broadcast, guests from abroad, as well as sweepstakes, lotteries and a sea of positive emotions were provided to all guests of the holiday.
The tradition of inviting foreign athletes is gaining momentum every year. This year, representatives of nine countries came to the international tournament, which cannot but rejoice. Among the Kazakhstani participants of the competition were athletes from the East Kazakhstan region. By the way, they performed very well. Our athletes have nine medals: two” gold”, four “silver”and three”bronze”.
As expected, at a distance of 400 m, Elina Mikhina finished first. For the ridder runner, this start was the third this year. In fact, it was very interesting to see how Elina quickly improved her result in each competition: cup (January 10-11) – 54.04 s; championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan (January 15-16) – 53.74 s; international tournament (January 20) – 53.29 s.progress is obvious.
This month, Mikhina became the best in the 400-meter race for the third time and set a new record in these competitions. Ahead on February 1-3, the Asian Championship will be held in the capital of Iran.
And one more” gold”, no matter how strange Dubovitskaya’s hopes for a high jump are, I would like to note that this athlete will go to Tehran with Mikhina. Two other jumpers from East Kazakhstan region Elizaveta Matveeva and Alexandra Krivitskaya competed for a resident of Semey.
After Dubovitskaya confidently “took”a height of 180 cm, there was no doubt that she would climb to the first step of the pedestal. But the performances of Matveeva and Krivitskaya brought a pinch of “pepper” to these competitions. Until the last moment, it was not clear in what order the athletes were located in the final protocol, since two girls were able to overcome the bar at once at a height of 175 cm. However, at the award ceremony, sixteen-year-old Elizaveta Matveeva became the winner of the silver medal, with little effort, and Alexandra Krivitskaya became the third.
Aigerim Shynazbekova, Roxana Ospanova and Oryngul Zkrienova were the obvious contenders for the prizes at the championship of Kazakhstan in the women’s hurdles 60 meters. By the way, it was in this order that the athletes crossed the finish line. As for the results of zkrienova, she, like Mikhina, improved her result with each start. Of course, not so strict, but the sure thing is that it is inevitable. Cup-9.16 s; championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan-8.97 s, international tournament-8.86 s.
The athlete from East Kazakhstan region Vitaly Licensenberger was also able to enter the number of prize-winners in the mujchiner 60 m hurdles with a result of 8.27 s (second place). Unlike our girls, Vitaly’s performance at the end of three starts has chaotic dynamics. Cup-8.36 s; championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan-8.46. 6; international tournament-8.27 s.
In the high jump, Sergey Zasimovich from East Kazakhstan region and Roman Loshkarev from Almaty again “fought”for the title of the best. As in the championship of Kazakhstan, men were able to jump the bar at the same height, but 4 cm below the previous start – 208 cm.this time Loshkarev made little effort, the young man overcame the height for the first time. So, Sergey Zasimovich gave Roman first place at the international tournament.
So, two medals were won at once by Dmitry Lukichev and Nikolai Klimenko. The strongest athlete of this kind, Ivan Ivanov, became the clear winner-18.32 M.when entering the sector of this wonderful athlete, it immediately becomes clear that today the “Gold” will take Ivanov, but this does not interest his performance. The second place was taken by Lukichev – 11.30 m, and Klimenko-in third place-10.80 m.
At the end of the tournament, a traditional mixed relay was held, which included two guys and two girls, as Olga Rypakova herself said:”in my opinion, this is the coolest scene in the program.”
Every year, athletes set new competition records, and this year is no exception. This time, 7 new tournament records were set!
