The results of the first competitive day of the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship among boys and girls in 1998-99
The championship of Kazakhstan among boys and girls born in 1998-99 started at the O. Rypakova Athletics Center and has already become known by the name of the first title holder.

Erica Kem is the fourth in the shot put. The Championship of Kazakhstan among boys and girls born in 1998-99 continues.
The tests of the medium-sized shot putter have been completed. Unfortunately, due to injury, Eric Kemp could not send the projectile far enough to get into the top three winners. With a score of 11.02 m, our compatriot became the fourth – highest place in the table of ranks. Erica performed her best push in the opening attempt, after which she unsuccessfully tried to improve the result.
Katsap’s love from Karaganda became the strongest.
– Of course, when she won, she counted on a gold medal, – the champion admits, – although the competition was very serious. All my competitors were well tuned into the fight, and there were already principled battles for medals between them. I am very grateful to my coach for the excellent preparation for the championship.

The triumphant was the representative of the Almaty region, Alexander Popov, who beat the runner-up Daniil Blokhin from Almaty in less than 3 seconds! At the same time, Blokhin injured his leg over 300 m, but managed to get to the finish line and keep the second position! Athletes from East Kazakhstan region, alas, could not compete, being in the lower half of the final protocol.

The athletes of Karaganda occupied the entire podium in the long jump. The real hegemony of the Karaganda region was the attempts to jerk in length. Three representatives of this region were in the top five at once.
The winners of the triumvirate were Maria Ovchinnikova, Diana galkantaite, Alexandra Klyukas. It is quite possible that Violetta Kharitonova from Yekaterinburg, where she was only 1 cm short of third place, “dilute” this trio!

The absolute strongest race was the second race, which was held in the top ten of the strongest, led by rook Fomina from SKA. Ridder’s stayer Moldir Seitkhanova was only able to keep Svetlana Saunina, who was gaining popularity, at the finish line and take an offensive fourth place.

Pole vaulting is the domain of Almaty athletes. Arman Kenesbek brought the bronze medal to the national team in pole vault
In the pole vault sector, Almaty athletes won three medals out of five possible, including two gold medals. It is all the more pleasant that one of the remaining two awards went to a ski jumper – Arman Kenesbek. The result, of course, is far from Bubka, one medal is a medal. Moreover, he has a clear deficit in awards.

1. Anna Danilovskaya – Almaty) – 3.6 m
2. Adela Bekbauova (Almaty) – 2.6 m

The first medal was awarded to Daniil Kuznetsov. The 400 m distance turned out to be a happy one for our countrymen.
They say that it was not without luck – in the race itself, Daniil took, like many other representatives of East Kazakhstan Region, the fourth place. One of the representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Kirill Sarasov, violated the rules during the race, for which he was disqualified. As a result, Kuznetsov became the third.

4. Zhandos KUMARBEKOV – East Kazakhstan Region) – 53.22 s
The leadership of the Karaganda national team at the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship was strengthened by the “middle men”.
Only one representative of Bashkortostan, Arina Saifullina, got to the final in the 400 m. Alas, she failed to compete for medals – she was the last in the decisive race. Adelina Akhmetova from the Karaganda region won the women’s race, running 0.17 s faster than her rival from Kyrgyzstan Arina Kleshchukova.

The long jump attempts ended with the fact that the top two steps of the podium were “occupied” by athletes from the southern capital.
Rasul Ismatov from Almaty “flew away” in the final attempt at 6.69 m, and he failed to reach the finish line. The jump from a similar level was performed only by the countryman of the newly crowned champion Ramiz Satoev, who was the leader of the race until the sixth jump, but lost the first place to Ismatov. All the others, including the East Kazakhstanis, were hopelessly far from victory.

..11. Vasily Borisovich (East Kazakhstan Region) – 5.67 m
The competition at the shortest distance – 60 m – ended with the victory of a foreign athlete.
The winner was Bekur Chokoyev from Kyrgyzstan. In the final, he lost only 0.03 seconds to Astana’s Vladimir Kosnikov.

..7. Timur PARYGIN (East Kazakhstan Region) – 7.4 s
Ivan Dmitriev won the third bronze medal of the Kazakhstan home championship for the team. The start in the high jump sector was victorious for the Karaganda residents, where two Karaganda residents turned out to be the strongest, and the representative of the USSR took the honorable second place.
Ivan Dmitriev and his family obeyed the mark of 182 cm. Only two Karaganda players, Roman Voznyuk and Ivan Dmitrienko, went further along the tournament path. Another representative of East Kazakhstan Region, Georgiynolov, jumped to the level of his personal record -170 cm. Alas, now this is clearly not enough to qualify for medals.
High jump. The young man:
1. Roman Voznyuk (Karaganda) – 194 cm
2. Ivan Dmitrienko (Karaganda) – 190 cm
3. Ivan DMITRIEV (East Kazakhstan Region) – 182 cm
…7-8. GEORGIYMOLOV (EAST KAZAKHSTAN region) – 170 cm
Oryngul Zaripova is the bronze medalist of the Kazakhstan championship in the smooth sprint. The highlight of the evening program of the competition was the girls’ 60 m race.
The final of the shortest distance in the tournament was just lightning fast, even compared to the men’s, where the speed is even higher! The fact is that our main sprinter, Oryngul Zaripova, performed here. And if it’s gold, then the medal should be in the national team’s piggy bank. Oryngul ran fast in the final – in 8.03 seconds! This is comparable to his personal best, if not beaten. But this was ” only ” enough to win the bronze medal. By the way, if we consider that earlier in the smooth sprint our famous hurdler was not even seen in the top eight, then she should have fought for the best result. Kamila Niyazova from Almaty became the champion, who became the only one of the girls who managed to run out of 8 seconds.
Sprint, 60 m. girls:
1. Kamila Niyazova (Almaty) – 7.8 seconds
2. Karina Abdrakhmanova (Kyrgyzstan) – 8.00 s
3. Oryngul Zaripova (East Kazakhstan region) – 8.03 s
