The new sports season opened with the Kazakhstan U20 Athletics Championship among juniors and the Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in athletics. The competition was held in the capital, at the QAZAQSTAN sports complex from January 10 to January 12, 2023. The national team of the East Kazakhstan region performed well in both competitions. Our athlete Ivan Teterin in the 200-meter run not only won gold, but also fulfilled the standard of the Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Congratulations!
