In other conditions

On April 20-21, the East Kazakhstan Region Athletics Championship was held among juniors born in 1999-2000, senior boys and girls born in 2001-2002, junior boys and girls born in 2003-2004 dedicated to the memory of Natalia Khodaeva.

It’s much warmer outside, which means it’s time to go out on the outdoor treadmills and compete outdoors. The championship of the East Kazakhstan region has recently ended, which was launched at the Vostok stadium, at the Olympian sports complex and, of course, at the Olga Rypakova athletics center.

The previous championship of our region was held on February 8-9 in the Ustkamenogorsk arena, then, unlike these starts, the program did not include 100, 110, 300 and 400 m hurdles, as well as throwing types: discus, hammer and spear.

We will learn more about how the competitions were held and what results the East Kazakhstan residents showed.

Despite the fact that it is warm outside, athletes participating in the long jump, high jump, pole vault and triple competed at the athletics center. Let’s start with the guys.

High jump

The juniors born in 1999-2000 have changed both the number of participants and the results. Compete with an athlete Grigory Ermolov has arrived Ivan Semenov from Semey, who became the new East Kazakhstan Region champion in the high jump. Ermolov competed with himself in February, and this is much more difficult (it was 170 cm; it became 165 cm). In fact, if the athlete had managed to repeat the jump, it would have made little difference, since Semenov conquered the bar at a height of 175 cm.

The older boys have three winners Toktagalin – Olenich – Bakhtin has changed places since the previous regional championship, changing its results. Akylzhan Toktagalin remained steadfastly in the first place (it was 185 cm; it became 184 cm). But the situation between Sergei Olenich and Vladislav Bakhtin is much more interesting. As last time, the guys, together with the leader, overcame the bar at a height of 185 cm, but Sergey became the owner of the “silver”, showing a jump ahead of the opponent. At this start, they passed Akylzhan ahead, continuing to compete for second place. The fight ended with the same result of 180 cm, and this time Vladislav won by the number of attempts – 1:1.

As for the younger boys, Alisher Kaliyev managed to perform in the high jump for the second time this year. Compared to the previous start, this one became less successful (it was 135 cm; it became 130 cm). Since there are only two participants in this age group – Kaliev and his countryman from Ust-Kamenogorsk Vyacheslav Alpatov, there was a clear struggle for the first place. Alpatov managed to beat his opponent with a score of 135 cm.

Pole vaulting

The composition of the participants in this form is far from great. As at the winter championship of East Kazakhstan Region, the best among the older and younger boys managed to remain brothers – jumpers Nursultan and Elnur Zhumabekov with the same result – 3.70 m.

Long Jump

The first among juniors was Eduard Gorst from Semey with a score of 6.11 m. By the way, at the previous competition for the title of East Kazakhstan Region champion, he lost to Vasily Borisevich, showing a result of 6 m. This time he killed two birds with one stone – and improved the result, and took the first place.

If an athlete from Ust-Kamenogorsk Alexander Raev repeated the jump that he showed in February, the first place would have been secured for him (it was 5.73 m, it became 5.58 m). Thirteen more athletes from East Kazakhstan competed with the young man, and only a namesake family member managed to beat him. Alexander Lepekhin with a score of 5.63 m.

The youngest participants from the previous competitions had only the leader – Rauan Bakhtybayev from Semey (it was 5.22 m, it became 5.38 m), the rest of the team underwent changes. Together with Rauan, Ernur Savetkhanov, Madiyar Myrzagaliyev and Vyacheslav Alpatov entered the jumping sector (occupied places in the order of enumeration).

_______

Since the Olga Rypakova athletics arena allows athletes to compete in the shot put all year round, for athletes, going outdoors on the territory of the Olympian sports complex has become a challenge for themselves.

Shot put, discus and hammer throw

What has remained unchanged is the position of Ustkamenogorsk boys in the final protocol among senior and junior boys in the shot put. Dmitry Lukichev (13.45 m) and Sergey Krasheninnikov (12.62 m) managed to stay in first place. The athletes did not stop there and also won leading positions in discus throwing.

Dmitry Lukichev took the third gold of the East Kazakhstan Region championship in the hammer throw with a score of 49.05 m.

Javelin throwing

When the word “spear” is pronounced in the East Kazakhstan region, then athletics fans may involuntarily have associations with the surname Gafner, well, or Nazarova. All this is not accidental. In addition to our Kazakhstan record holders, they are being replaced by an athlete named Erwin, by the way, is also a Hafner. Among the older boys and even juniors, his result was the best – 45.35 m. Who knows what the future holds for us, but there is no doubt that the era of the Hafners has come to javelin throwing.

Hurdling

110 m s/b

Ramiz Kartaev from Ust-Kamenogorsk finished in the juniors with a clear margin of 10 seconds, leaving behind Kokpetinsky runner Alisher Suleizhanov (26.56 seconds). But among the older boys, Alexander Lepekhin literally snatched the first place from Roman Grigoriev, because the time difference was only 0.2 seconds.

Younger boys have much smoother results compared to the results of older comrades. Andrey Ignatikov (16.72 s) crossed the finish line, ahead of Elnur Zhumabekov by exactly 2 seconds.

300 m s/w

Six athletes entered the race among the younger boys born in 2003-2004, five of whom are Ustkamenogorets. From the first to the third place on the account of the “hosts”. Ignatikov won his second prize (43.17 s), Danil Pimenov took the second (47.55 s), Aldiyar Tolebai took the third (48.74 s).

Running 100 m

At the shortest distance of this championship, the number of participants exceeded 40. Ramiz Kartaev became the first among juniors, who distinguished himself at the championship with his performance, because during the competition he did not win a single prize.

Running 200 and 400 m

When Alexander Aksyutin and Efim Tarasov entered the track, it became expected who would become the holder of the title of “champion”.

If Alexander took part only in the 200 m – 23.01 s, then the younger runner Efim Tarasov did not stop at one “gold”, and became the winner also at the 400 m distance (200 m – 22.62 s; 400 m – 50.00 s). Each time, this athlete invariably goes towards his goal of becoming the best, which he noticeably succeeds in. Keep it up !

The boys’ competitions turned out to be eventful, although the results of the girls are no less interesting.

Running 100 m

Valeria Bromat, one of the fastest athletes of East Kazakhstan Region, won the smooth “hundred meter race”. The “difference” between her and Olga Pulyaeva from Ridder was 0.42 s, which was very noticeable. Most recently, on April 13-14, the city athletics championship was held in Ust–Kamenogorsk, where Valeria showed a result of 12.77 sec., a week later – 12.67 sec. With each performance, the Bromate is gaining momentum, which is good news.

Running 200 and 400 m

Ayim Kaysanova became twice the champion of the region in the 200 and 400 m running, having withstood strong competition in her sports. At a shorter distance, another strongest runner from Ridder Sofia Bezverkhova came on the heels of the athlete, but she still failed to catch up with Ayim (26.99 s).

Alexandra Egorina from Ust-Kamenogorsk became the main competitor in the 400 m, but she still failed to overtake Kaysanova (Ayim – 1:00.38; Alexandra – 1:01.03).

Running 300 m

Olga Pulyaeva failed to overtake the 100 m Bromate, and the rest of the athletes at 300 m did quite well. The Ridder athlete ran first with a margin of more than 5 seconds – 42.77 seconds, leaving behind Ayazhan Musayeva from Semey and Sofya Toiskina from Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Running 1000 and 2000 m

Arina Gladysheva, like Kaisanova, managed to become the best in two disciplines at once. At the average distances of 1000 and 2000 m, the athlete finished quite spectacularly, showing a decent time difference, breaking away from other participants. Gladysheva managed to beat Madina Myrzagalieva by 27.59 seconds, and at a distance twice as much and completely overtook her opponent by almost a minute.

Hurdling

100 m s/w

One hundred meters for Daria Demchenko from Ust-Kamenogorsk became successful, both “smooth” and with barriers. Two prizes at this East Kazakhstan Region championship are on the account of this runner. In the 100 m, Demchenko took second place, losing to the same Sofia Bezverkhova from Ridder, but in the hurdles, the girl pressed on and ran first – 15.42 s.

Long Jump

The composition of the strongest athletes in the long jump almost does not change. Anastasia Zavodina showed a result of 5.57 m among the juniors, Polina has the best attempt among the older girls. Pokladova – 5,00 m., and the youngest participants born in 2003-2004, Valeria Bromat became the first – 5,21 m, this athlete should be noted for her versatility!

Hammer Throwing

Anastasia Kaloshina is the strongest athlete in the hammer throw. It is distinguished by its efficiency and the desire to move forward. From start to start, the results of the thrower become higher, and the requirements for themselves are greater. At the last city competitions on April 13-14, Kaloshina’s result was 53.69 m, a week later Anastasia improved it to 55.55 m. Who knows what changes will happen next, because the season has just begun!
