The 26th International Gusman Kosanov Memorial Tournament has concluded at the Central Stadium in Almaty. On the final day of the competition, the EKR (East Kazakhstan Region) team managed to secure two more medals.
Regina Kaisarova became the absolute best in the high jump, winning with a result of 1.8m, even if it wasn’t the most impressive performance. Interestingly, the athlete chose not to attempt the 1.85m height, deciding to settle for her medal.
Notably, Kazakhstani athletes swept the entire podium in the high jump. The silver medal in this sector was won by the rising star from Semey, Nadezhda Dubovitskaya, who was the youngest participant in the event, while Alexandra Gulyukina rounded out the top three.
