EKR Specialized Youth Sports School Athletics Championship Dedicated to Victory Day
On May 8, the Championship of the KSU “East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Youth Sports School for Athletics,” dedicated to Victory Day, took place at the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center and Altai Stadium. Athletes competed in the following age categories: born in 2003 and older, 2004–2006 (U23), 2009–2010 (U18), 2011–2012 (U16), and younger. Running events were held at Altai Stadium. Athletes competed in hurdle races, sprint events, 400 m, 800 m, and 5000 m races, as well as the women’s and men’s 200 m finals. Technical disciplines and throwing events took place at the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center. Participants demonstrated their skills in javelin, discus, and hammer throw, as well as triple jump, long jump, high jump, and shot put.
