Open Athletics Championship to Be Held in Ust-Kamenogorsk On March 7, 2026, the Athletics Center named after Olga Rypakova in Ust-Kamenogorsk will host the Open Championship of the East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve for Athletics among boys and girls of younger age groups. The tournament will involve boys and girls born in 2013–2014, 2015–2016, and 2017 and younger. The competition will be held in an individual format. Athletes with medical clearance are allowed to participate. Young athletes will compete in the 50 m, 50 m hurdles, 200 m, 600 m races, and in the long jump. Preliminary and final races are предусмотрены in the 50 m and 200 m events. Women of the East Kazakhstan Athletics Sports School Congratulated on the Upcoming International Women’s Day
On March 6, a ceremonial meeting was held at the East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve for Athletics, where the staff congratulated the female members of the team on the upcoming International Women’s Day. Warm words of gratitude were expressed to the women for their work, their contribution to the development of athletics, and their role in educating young athletes. At the end of the event, the women of the team were presented with commemorative gifts and wished good health, happiness, and new professional achievements.
