Efim finished with a decent margin from his nearest opponent, more than 3 seconds, won his own time in the final race, and also became the only one who managed to run out of 49 seconds and show a result at the level of the CMC. On the second day, the distance was half as long, the East Kazakhstan runner was pleased with the gold medal again. The status of the strongest was confirmed, the time shown was again at the level of the candidate for master of sports and the first step of the podium with a result of 22.20 seconds. The other two “golds” were won in team wrestling, namely in the 4 x 200 m relay races and the mixed relay race at the same distance. The athlete himself is pleased with the performance. – I am satisfied with the performance. Efim shares. – Everything happened as planned. It turned out to win and it cannot but please (smiles – approx.the author). In the relay races, I asked the team to work as much as possible and not bring a strong gap, well, then it was up to me. According to the plans, I have a recovery, and after that I will start preparing for the Asian championship! By the way, plus another medal in the East Kazakhstan Region’s piggy bank from the relay team, but only 4 to 400 meters, without Tarasov’s participation and a prize-winning second place. It was he who set the rhythm for the participants from eastern and northern Kazakhstan, running in 4:07.77 he became the first. Since there is not as much competition in pole vaulting as in other jumping athletics, it is sometimes possible to predict the outcome of the competition there. This does not always happen, although if you look at the number of participants, as this time, it could be ironically emphasized that no one will remain without a reward. Four participants, the youngest of them does not “take” a three-meter height, automatically yielding to his opponent. The representative of East Kazakhstan Region, Elnur Zhumabekov, came second with a result of 3.90 m. Even at the previous height, a struggle broke out between Elnur and Danil Artemyev from the Karaganda region. The fate of the guys was decided by the last third attempt at 3.80 m. Artemyev conceded to Zhumabekov, who in turn overcame the bar even higher. That’s where I stopped. Ayim Kaysanova managed to climb the podium several times among the girls. On February 15, the Kazakhstan Junior Athletics Championship started at the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center. The very first day of the competition turned out to be very joyful and generous with events. Ustkamenogorsk athlete Elizaveta Matveeva fulfilled the standard of the Master of Sports in athletics in high jump. We sincerely congratulate the jumper and her coach Lyudmila Valentinovna Peshko with an excellent result! In fact, today was a really important day, especially in the girls’ high jump sector. In addition to the fact that Matveeva fulfilled the standard, today she fought with her main rival from Almaty, Kristina Ovchinnikova, for the right to play as part of the U-20 national team at the International Match Meeting in Minsk, which will be held from February 24 to 26. Following the results of the competition, an Almaty jumper will go to represent our country, as her performance was a little more confident, as usual, everything was decided by the number of attempts. Apart from Kristina and Elizabeth, no one managed to reach a height of 180 cm. By the way, Ovchinnikova herself fulfilled the MS standard quite recently, at the championship of Kazakhstan on January 24. Then the athlete entered the sector with the most productive high-altitude athlete of the country, Nadezhda Dubovitskaya, and this time Matveeva was a worthy competitor. Despite the fact that both girls overcame the 180 cm bar on the first attempt, Lisa completed the previous height of 175 cm on the very third attempt, but Kristina took heights starting from 165 cm without a single miss. Progress is obvious, we hope that each participant this time received not only a truly great pleasure from the hot battle, but also remained with a wonderful aftertaste! The men’s performances in the high jump were no less vivid. The main rivals in the sector were Vladislav Bakhtin from East Kazakhstan region and Egor Oleshko from Mangystau region. By the way, Almaty athlete Roman Loshkarev participated outside the competition. Of course, due to his age and experience, this athlete showed a higher result – 2 m 12 cm. But the young athletes did not go so far away from him, their “controversial” height was 2 m. And, as usual, it’s up to the attempts. Egor made a confident first attempt, which allowed him to stay on the line higher in the final protocol than the East Kazakhstan jumper. He was able to fly over the bar on the second attempt. Athletes from East Kazakhstan region can be congratulated on a double “shot” at the prize money in the 400 m run. Ekaterina Efremova and Ayim Kaysanova were the fastest in the final race. Efremova took the lead and with a score of 58.20 s became the winner in this form, Kaysanova finished second with 58.83 s, and the “bronze” went to a participant from the Kostanay region. By the way, Ekaterina and Ayim competed on the first day of the competition in the 4 200 m relay race, where they took third place in the team with Alexandra Egorina and Sofia Bezverkhova – 1:46.01. The men in the 4×200 relay also took the third step on the podium. Unlike the girls, the competitions there were a little more serious, as five teams entered the track, including the East Kazakhstan region. Viktor Zakharov, Ramiz Kartaev, Vladimir Feshchenko and Alexander Aksyutin fought for the honor of the region – 1:32.20. On February 22-23, Karaganda hosted the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship among junior boys and girls born in 2004 – 2005– At this start, our athletes noticeably distinguished themselves, namely: Valeria Bromat, Arina Gladysheva, Mikhail Gorlov, Egor Zolotarev and Rauan Bakhtybaev. Valeria Bromat, one of the fastest East Kazakhstan runners, was among those who brought far more than one medal to the piggy bank of our region. In the 60 m run, the girl became the winner (7.96 s), by the way, she became the only finalist who managed to run out of 8 s. It is not for nothing that Bromat is called a universal athlete, because she also managed to get into the number of prize-winners in the long jump. Valeria came second with a score of 5.48 m. Only Elizaveta Fedoruk, an athlete from the Karaganda region, “flew away” from her. Another “silver” on the account of the athlete turned out to be based on the results of her performance in the 4 200 m relay team. together with Regina Behnke, Anastasia Rypakova and Olga Biryukova – 1:52.20. Arina Gladysheva lived up to all expectations, twice becoming the winner of gold medals at distances of 1000 and 2000 m. With which we congratulate her! Mikhail Gorlov, as well as our girls, made a great contribution to this championship. In the 600 m run, the athlete snatched the victory, beating the opponent from the North Kazakhstan region by 1 second (1:33.74)! By the way, another athlete from East Kazakhstan Region Dmitry Lyapunov took third place in the same race. The distance of half that brought Gorlov a bronze award. The result of the athlete is 40.19 seconds. Rauan Bakhtybayev was the second in the final protocol in the 60 m hurdles. In the preliminary race, the runner won 0.4 s – 9.06 s. But Rauan won the gold award in the long jump – 6.02 m. Challenge from akim or good deeds on the eve of Nauryz
On March 21, the athletics center “Olga Rypakova” will host athletics Kids athletics competitions among children from orphanages in the East Kazakhstan region. Team athletics competitions among children born in 2004 – 2011, who are brought up in orphanages of East Kazakhstan region “Children’s Village” and “Umit”, will be held in Ust-Kamenogorsk before one of the most important holidays of the country. These competitions, initiated by the Altay Athletics Club, are held with the aim of popularizing athletics in Kazakhstan, promoting a healthy lifestyle, identifying the strongest guys for further involvement in systematic athletics, as well as simply pleasing children with valuable and interesting gifts. The decision to hold such competitions was also supported by the Athletics Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Athletics Federation of the East Kazakhstan region, East Kazakhstan Region SDYUSSHOR, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of East Kazakhstan Region and the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
