Elizaveta Matveeva: “When you see the coach’s satisfied eyes, you realize that everything is not in vain”

On January 29, the Martial Arts Palace hosted an event within the framework of “Jastar Qazaqstan 2019”, where the works of young talents in various fields of activity were noted. This ceremony was not complete without the participation of our athletes. Read more in our material. This year has been officially declared the “Year of Youth”, the decree was signed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev himself. So, in Ust-Kamenogorsk, a whole celebration dedicated to a new and bright event was organized, where the works of the younger generation, namely those who made a significant contribution to the life of our country, were celebrated. One of the honored guests of the ceremony was Olympic champion Olga Rypakova. – I wish you health, happiness, and be sure to exercise. – our athlete addressed all the residents of Kazakhstan in one of the interviews. – It is sport that helps you achieve all your goals and stay on the right path! During the event, Olga Sergeevna awarded Elizaveta Matveeva, a high-rise athlete, a member of the Altay Athletics Club, for the girl’s effective performances. “The best athlete of 2018 in East Kazakhstan Region in athletics” – this is exactly how the nomination of our Ustkamenogorsk jumper sounds. – My coach Lyudmila Valentinovna Peshko told me that they want to reward me. It was very pleasant for me, at these moments you realize that your work is appreciated. When you see the satisfied eyes of your coach, the pride in them, you are very happy. My merits are also hers, because she put so much effort and patience into me. And of course, I’m still impressed, because Olga Rypakova herself awarded me! – tells Elizabeth. The works of not only athletes are really appreciated. Also during the celebration, the Altai volleyball team, a boxer and a novice poet were awarded. Such meetings are a great motivation for young people, because the main thing is that in our country there is someone to take an example from! Tarasov’s performances or a golden streak

On February 8-10, the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship among senior boys and girls was held The series of athletics starts in Ust-Kamenogorsk continues. According to the results of the competition, the East Kazakhstan region became the third in the team standings (24,209 points), losing to the teams from Karaganda region (26,707 points) and Almaty (25,620 points). Efim Tarasov distinguished himself with a brilliant performance at the championship. For several years now, the Nakhodka athlete has been doing what he shows spectacular wrestling at the Ust-Kamenogorsk arena. In three days, the young man won as many as four gold medals. About this in more detail. On the very first day of the competition, Tarasov was pleased with his performance in the 400 m run. Efim finished with a decent margin from his nearest opponent, more than 3 seconds, won his own time in the final race, and also became the only one who managed to run out of 49 seconds and show a result at the level of the CMC. On the second day, the distance was half as long, the East Kazakhstan runner was pleased with the gold medal again. The status of the strongest was confirmed, the time shown was again at the level of the candidate for master of sports and the first step of the podium with a result of 22.20 seconds. The other two “golds” were won in team wrestling, namely in the 4 x 200 m relay races and the mixed relay race at the same distance. The athlete himself is pleased with the performance. – I am satisfied with the performance. Efim shares. – Everything happened as planned. It turned out to win and it cannot but please (smiles – approx.the author). In the relay races, I asked the team to work as much as possible and not bring a strong gap, well, then it was up to me. According to the plans, I have a recovery, and after that I will start preparing for the Asian championship! By the way, plus another medal in the East Kazakhstan Region’s piggy bank from the relay team, but only 4 to 400 meters, without Tarasov’s participation and a prize-winning second place. The women’s national team for 4 to 200 also made a far from easy impression on the audience, and justified the expectation of all those who sincerely supported the participants. The first place was not easy, but it’s not for nothing that this kind of athletics is usually watched in one go. The composition of relay teams: Young men: 4×200 m . (1st place) – Andrey Ignatikov, Efim Tarasov, Ernur Sovetkhanov, Vladislav Nurek. (1:35.70) 4×400 m (2nd place) – Andrey Ignatikov, Ernur Sovetkhanov, Yakov Lavrentiev, Ulan Baurzhanuly. MIX: 4×200 m . (1st place) – Efim Tarasov, Ernur Sovetkhanov, Ayim Kaysanova, Sofia Bezverkhova. (1:39.49) Girls: 4×200 m . (1st place) – Ayim Kaysanova, Sofia Bezverkhova, Valeria Bromat, Anastasia Rypakova (1:46.61) Andrey Ignatikov collected awards of all three types during the championship, gold and silver in relay races with his friends, but he won the bronze medal on his own in the 60 m hurdles with a score of 8.67 s. Nikita Evdokimov managed to get on the list of medalists at the average distances of 1500 m and 3000 m. The athlete won bronze and silver medals. Nikita’s obvious rival was Azat Ramazanov from the North Kazakhstan region. Although, in the 1500 m run, the Almaty runner Ruslan Naumov turned out to be faster than the guys. It was he who set the rhythm for the participants from eastern and northern Kazakhstan, running in 4:07.77 he became the first. Since there is not as much competition in pole vaulting as in other jumping athletics, it is sometimes possible to predict the outcome of the competition there. This does not always happen, although if you look at the number of participants, as this time, it could be ironically emphasized that no one will remain without a reward. Four participants, the youngest of them does not “take” a three-meter height, automatically yielding to his opponent. The representative of East Kazakhstan Region, Elnur Zhumabekov, came second with a result of 3.90 m. Even at the previous height, a struggle broke out between Elnur and Danil Artemyev from the Karaganda region. The fate of the guys was decided by the last third attempt at 3.80 m. Artemyev conceded to Zhumabekov, who in turn overcame the bar even higher. That’s where I stopped. Ayim Kaysanova managed to climb the podium several times among the girls. Despite the merits of the girl in relay performances, the girl also showed good results in personal competitions. In the 400 m, the athlete became the third – 59.64 m. The middle distances this time really turned out to be very profitable for medals. Two “gold” from Arina Gladysheva. This Ridder hardy athlete has done a great job for her field. Inna Semenyak
Elizaveta Matveeva – Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On February 15, the Kazakhstan Junior Athletics Championship started at the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center. The very first day of the competition turned out to be very joyful and generous with events. Ustkamenogorsk athlete Elizaveta Matveeva fulfilled the standard of the Master of Sports in athletics in high jump. We sincerely congratulate the jumper and her coach Lyudmila Valentinovna Peshko with an excellent result! In fact, today was a really important day, especially in the girls’ high jump sector. In addition to the fact that Matveeva fulfilled the standard, today she fought with her main rival from Almaty, Kristina Ovchinnikova, for the right to play as part of the U-20 national team at the International Match Meeting in Minsk, which will be held from February 24 to 26. Following the results of the competition, an Almaty jumper will go to represent our country, as her performance was a little more confident, as usual, everything was decided by the number of attempts. Apart from Kristina and Elizabeth, no one managed to reach a height of 180 cm. By the way, Ovchinnikova herself fulfilled the MS standard quite recently, at the championship of Kazakhstan on January 24. Then the athlete entered the sector with the most productive high-altitude athlete of the country, Nadezhda Dubovitskaya, and this time Matveeva was a worthy competitor. Despite the fact that both girls overcame the 180 cm bar on the first attempt, Lisa completed the previous height of 175 cm on the very third attempt, but Kristina took heights starting from 165 cm without a single miss. Progress is obvious, we hope that each participant this time received not only a truly great pleasure from the hot battle, but also remained with a wonderful aftertaste! The men’s performances in the high jump were no less vivid. The main rivals in the sector were Vladislav Bakhtin from East Kazakhstan region and Egor Oleshko from Mangystau region. By the way, Almaty athlete Roman Loshkarev participated outside the competition. Of course, due to his age and experience, this athlete showed a higher result – 2 m 12 cm. But the young athletes did not go so far away from him, their “controversial” height was 2 m. And, as usual, it’s up to the attempts. Egor made a confident first attempt, which allowed him to stay on the line higher in the final protocol than the East Kazakhstan jumper. He was able to fly over the bar on the second attempt. Athletes from East Kazakhstan region can be congratulated on a double “shot” at the prize money in the 400 m run. Ekaterina Efremova and Ayim Kaysanova were the fastest in the final race. Efremova took the lead and with a score of 58.20 s became the winner in this form, Kaysanova finished second with 58.83 s, and the “bronze” went to a participant from the Kostanay region. By the way, Ekaterina and Ayim competed on the first day of the competition in the 4 200 m relay race, where they took third place in the team with Alexandra Egorina and Sofia Bezverkhova – 1:46.01. The men in the 4×200 relay also took the third step on the podium. Unlike the girls, the competitions there were a little more serious, as five teams entered the track, including the East Kazakhstan region. Viktor Zakharov, Ramiz Kartaev, Vladimir Feshchenko and Alexander Aksyutin fought for the honor of the region – 1:32.20. Congratulations to all the athletes on the end of the first day of competition! We wish you further success! Inna Semenyak Photo by the author Source: flavko.kz
They returned with awards

On February 22-23, Karaganda hosted the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship among junior boys and girls born in 2004 – 2005– At this start, our athletes noticeably distinguished themselves, namely: Valeria Bromat, Arina Gladysheva, Mikhail Gorlov, Egor Zolotarev and Rauan Bakhtybaev. Valeria Bromat, one of the fastest East Kazakhstan runners, was among those who brought far more than one medal to the piggy bank of our region. In the 60 m run, the girl became the winner (7.96 s), by the way, she became the only finalist who managed to run out of 8 s. It is not for nothing that Bromat is called a universal athlete, because she also managed to get into the number of prize-winners in the long jump. Valeria came second with a score of 5.48 m. Only Elizaveta Fedoruk, an athlete from the Karaganda region, “flew away” from her. Another “silver” on the account of the athlete turned out to be based on the results of her performance in the 4 200 m relay team. together with Regina Behnke, Anastasia Rypakova and Olga Biryukova – 1:52.20. Arina Gladysheva lived up to all expectations, twice becoming the winner of gold medals at distances of 1000 and 2000 m. With which we congratulate her! By the way, Egor Zolotorev pleased the guys in the 1000 m race with his performance. The young man finished first – 2:51.10. Mikhail Gorlov, as well as our girls, made a great contribution to this championship. In the 600 m run, the athlete snatched the victory, beating the opponent from the North Kazakhstan region by 1 second (1:33.74)! By the way, another athlete from East Kazakhstan Region Dmitry Lyapunov took third place in the same race. The distance of half that brought Gorlov a bronze award. The result of the athlete is 40.19 seconds. Rauan Bakhtybayev was the second in the final protocol in the 60 m hurdles. In the preliminary race, the runner won 0.4 s – 9.06 s. But Rauan won the gold award in the long jump – 6.02 m. Danil Pavlyuk from Shymkent landed in second place three centimeters away from him, and North Kazakhstan athlete Arsen Umerzhanov took third place – 5.89 m. In the team competition, the East Kazakhstan region took 2nd place (20,910 points). Team places: KRG – 24,555 points. 2. East Kazakhstan Region – 20,910 points. SKO – 20,283 points. Inna Semenyak

Waiting for the second season

Children’s athletics competitions are now actively developing in Kazakhstan. This year, the professional athletics club Altay Athletics, together with the athletics federations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will open the second season of these starts. More than 20,000 children from 670 schools in the East Kazakhstan region will take part. The competition will be held in three stages: the first stage on April 8-13, the second stage on April 22-27, and the final on May 5. It is impossible not to notice the active attention to children’s competitions from the management and adult professional athletes. So, most recently, Olympic champion Olga Rypakova wrote a message on her Instagram social network on her page, where she noted the indifference on the part of Akim of East Kazakhstan Region Danial Kenzhetaevich Akhmetov – A lot of attention is paid to athletics today. I would like to thank Danial Akhmetov for this. Danial Kenzhetaevich supports all our projects, including children’s ones. Together we will definitely be able to raise new champions and bright stars. Olga emphasized. The competition days will show what new successes the young athletes will bring. We can only wait. We wish success and incredible victories to all participants! Readiness number one

The junior national athletics team of East Kazakhstan Region won seven gold medals on the first day of the Kazakhstan Championship alone. The Kazakhstan Junior Athletics Championship started yesterday in Almaty and brought a huge amount of positive news for East Kazakhstanis. The national team of our region added two silver and bronze medals to the seven championship titles. But we will pay special attention to our champions. The most “profitable” discipline for us was the 400 m running. In total, this distance brought us two gold and one silver medals. Efim Tarasov from Ridder won his race in a mocking manner, shaking his head at the finish line out of frustration that no one in Kazakhstan could offer him proper resistance, even at the junior level. Our citizen Ekaterina Efremova became the national champion at this distance, and only the Belousovskaya pupil Ayim Kaysanova, who ran to the finish line second, was able to impose the fight for the “gold” on her. The most unexpected triumph was the victory of the men’s relay of the East Kazakhstan Region 4 to 100 m. Viktor Zakharov, Vladimir Feshchenko, Alexander Aksyutin and Ramiz Kartaev managed to win, despite the fact that none of them specializes in the 100 m distance! The women’s 4x100m relay was the third. The bronze medal in this type of program for East Kazakhstan Region was won by Daria Demchenko, Ayim Kaysanova, Ekaterina Efremova and Anastasia Zavodina. Zavodina, by the way, strengthened our relay race already being the champion of these competitions. Earlier, she won the gold medal in the long jump with the best result of 5.64 m in the last year. Elizaveta Matveeva from Ust-Kamenogorsk continued the tradition of East Kazakhstan Region dominance in the high jump, winning with a score of 180 cm. Dmitry Lukichev did the same, however, in a different discipline – hammer throwing. Our countryman “swept” the nearest pursuer by three meters, showing 42.8 m in the best attempt. Well, another bronze medal was awarded to Nursultan Zhumabekov in the pole vault. The East Kazakhstan Region national team has 7 gold medals, while the closest pursuers in the team competition have only two each. But we still have very strong athletes in the 200 m run, men’s high jump, 4 to 400 relay races in classic and mixed versions and discus throwing. So a successful start day may well be the key to the final success of our squad! Source: yk.kz
