The city athletics championship has ended in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
On the second day of the championship, athletics competitions were held in two places in the city at once. At the Olympian sports complex, athletes competed in throwing disciplines, and at the Vostok stadium, children competed in running. Daria Demchenko showed a bright performance in running disciplines. The girl became the leader in the 100 m hurdles, and also took second place in the 200 m, finishing right after Alexandra Egorina, with a score of 27.1 s. Perhaps, among the runners, this is the only athlete who managed to win several awards today. But among the throwers, there are much more distinguished athletes. Leila Tolegenova became the two-time champion of the city among female athletes born in 2002-2003, she managed to take first places in the hammer throw and discus throw. Margarita Liventsova, by the way, from the same age category as Tolegenova, won the status of the best in the shot put with a score of 9.39 m, and also Margarita became the second, after Leila, in the discus throw – 24.52 m. Among the older girls, Yerkezhan Kadylbekova completed the competition with two titles. In the shot put, the athlete took first place, but in the discus throw she was on the second line of the final protocol with a score of 22.67 m. Sergey Krasheninnikov, Dmitry Gusev and Zharasp Kozhakhmetov managed to take several prizes for the guys today, discus throwing and shot put became successful for them. Roman Grigoriev managed to distinguish himself from these guys, the athlete won awards in three disciplines at once: shot put, discus throw and javelin throw.
