The Arena of the Year
According to the newspaper” liter”, the best sports facility commissioned last year is the athletics arena in Ust-Kamenogorsk. It was inaugurated in March 2014. The sports field was named after the Olympic champion Olga Rypakova, a native of this city. The unique sports facility has no analogues in the Republic and meets all international requirements. The total area is 6910.85 sq. m., the arena area is 4695 sq.m. there are 680 seats for spectators. Treadmills-six, tracks in the center – eight, circle length – 200 m. specialized sectors – six (long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, 60 m barrier, sprint, medium and long distance running, sports walking, shooting). There are also changing rooms, showers, a gym, a psychological unloading room and much more.
