Whether there will be more!

On December 22-23, the Open Championship of the East Kazakhstan region in athletics among men and women born in 2000 and older, boys and girls 2001-2002, 2003-2004 was held at the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center. On the first day, competitions were held in the 60 m, 400 m, 600 m, 1500 m, 2000 m, 2000 m s/p, as well as in the shot put, long and high jumps, triple jump (women) and in the 4 200 m relay; On the second day, athletes took part in race walking, 60 m running, 200 m, 300 m, 800 m, 1000 m, 3000 m, triple jump (men) and relay 4 to 400 m. Every year, a large number of participants from the entire region come to the East Kazakhstan Region championship, and if it is also open, it means that it will not do without guests from other regions. Having seen the name of Zems in the list of participants, it was not difficult to guess who would most likely be the first among men in the 60 m race. Every year, brothers from Karaganda, Vitaly and Vyacheslav, come to compete in Ust-Kamenogorsk, and strangely enough, they do it successfully. This time was no exception. Vitaly Zems became the first with a score of 6.97 s in the 60 m run, and Vyacheslav finished first in the 60 m/b run (8.09 s), leaving behind Ust-Kamenogorsk athlete Vitaly Licenberger – 8.47 s. The competitions turned out to be very interesting and spectacular. It would seem that no one left without medals, but some managed to “take” more than one with them. The awards of these athletes will have to be counted and counted, because they managed to distinguish themselves, more than. Let’s start with the men. Vladimir Feshchenko is a young and promising track and field athlete from the village of Glubokoe. This athlete shows good results almost every time he performs. During these two days, Vladimir took part in four competitions, each of which brought him awards. The athlete finished second in the 60 m and 400 m races. In the 4-200m relay, together with Tahir Konshpaev, Alexander Shvetsov and Danil Prokopenko, they won gold with a score of 1:40.40, but in the 200m run Vladimir made a splash. Not only did Feshchenko finish first, he set a new personal best of 22.86 s. Whether there will be more! Also, Zhandos Zhakypov from Ust-Kamenogorsk and Efim Tarasov from Ridder were among the most successful athletes in running. Zhakypov managed to become the first in the 300 m distance with a score of 41.14 s, and the third in the 60 m run (8.03 s). Tarasov, as one of the fastest athletes of East Kazakhstan Region in the 600 m running among 2002-2003, was remembered at competitions dedicated to the memory of Gusman Kosanov, when he managed to run out of one and a half minutes. This time, Efim competed at distances of 200 m (22.95 s) and 400 m (49.69 s), where the athlete took second and first places. Andrey Ponomarev and Vladislav Bakhtin each won two gold medals. The first competed among men in the long jump (6.68 m) and in the triple jump (14.17 m), and Bakhtin among the older boys became the best in the high jump (1.85 m) and long jump (5.81 m). Among women, of course, there are also athletes who have become leaders in the number of awards won. Elizaveta Matveeva is rightfully considered universal, because no matter what discipline this Ust-Kamenogorsk athlete participates in, she does it masterfully. That’s how it happened this time. During the two days of competition, Matveeva’s piggy bank was replenished with one bronze and three gold medals. In the 60 m/b run, she became the third with a score of 10.25 s, losing to Elizaveta Buluchevskaya from Ust-Kamenogorsk and runner from Semey Margarita Bogomolova. The success was brought by: 4 200 m relay (Eva Greenwald, Angelina Malkova, Elizaveta Matveeva and Ayim Kaysanova); long jump (5.02 m) and high jump (1.75 m). “Three competitions – three gold medals” – this is how Arina Gladysheva finished her performances. In the 1000 m run, the Ridder athlete beat six competitors with a decent result of 3:08.63, but in the 2000 m run in her age category, Arina became the only participant – 6:45.89. In the 4 to 200 m relay, the ridder team (Olga Biryukova, Arina Gladysheva, Amina Zhanysova, Lyubov Kuryanova) competed with a quartet from Beskaragai, and finished first with a margin of just over 3 seconds.
