The final day of the track and field competitions at the 4th “Children of Asia” International Sports Games brought bronze medals to Kazakhstani athletes in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays for both boys and girls.
In the boys’ 4x400m relay, the Kazakhstani athletes secured bronze with a time of 03:33.56. Our team consisted of Kirill Grigoryan, Vladimir Feshchenko, Nikita Chuporshnev, and Nikolai Petrov. First place went to Thailand (03:31.60), and second place to the team from China (03:32.09).
4x100m Relay: 1st place – Thailand (43.50), 2nd place – Sri Lanka (45.00), 3rd place – Hong Kong, China (45.08).
In the girls’ 4x100m relay, our athletes repeated the boys’ success by also taking third place with a result of 51.37. The team featured Viktoria Brichevskaya, Alexandra Egorina, Anastasia Trifonova, and Arina Misheyeva. Azerbaijan took the gold (49.33), while Russia claimed the silver (50.02).
On the podium for the 4x400m discipline, Russia took first place (03:53.24), followed by Thailand in second (04:02.39), and athletes from Sri Lanka in third (04:02).
