A day of national mourning has been declared in Kazakhstan

By order of the Head of State, September 25, 2026 has been declared a day of national mourning in the Republic of Kazakhstan following the deaths of military personnel in the line of duty in the Mangystau Region.

The President expressed his deep condolences to the families and loved ones of the servicemen who died in the tragic incident. He instructed the government commission to take all necessary measures to establish the circumstances of what happened and to provide assistance to the families of the victims.

We mourn together with the families and loved ones of the fallen servicemen.
