Kazakh athlete Elizaveta Matveyeva delivered an impressive performance at the EKO Cyprus International Athletics Meeting, held in Limassol, Cyprus.
The prestigious competition is part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Bronze level series. Matveyeva competed in the women’s high jump event, clearing 1.85 meters to claim the silver medal.
Another Kazakh athlete, Kristina Ovchinnikova, finished fifth with a jump of 1.80 meters, securing a place among the competition’s top five performers.
Local athlete Elena Kulichenko won the gold medal, while Panagiota Dosi of Greece completed the podium by taking bronze.
