Olga Rypakova Promoted to the Rank of Major
On August 31, in Astana, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Imangali Tasmagambetov, honored track and field athlete Olga Rypakova, a bronze medalist of the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games and a captain of the Central Sports Club of the Ministry of Defense of the RK. On behalf of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the RK, Imangali Tasmagambetov also presented the athlete with the Order of Parasat (Order of Nobility) and valuable gifts.
