Dubovitskaya and Kaisarova were among the winners of the international athletics tournament

Getting into the number of prize-winners was quite predictable even before the start of the women’s high jump competition, because out of five participants in this type of program, three girls represented East Kazakhstan Region at once. And not just our region, but the city of Semey, because Regina Kaisarova, Alexandra Krivitskaya, and Nadezhda Dubovitskaya are students of athletics in this city.

A real struggle could have unfolded and unfolded between three athletes: the champions of Kazakhstan Kaysarova and Dubovitskaya, as well as a guest from Uzbekistan Safina Sadullayeva. Krivitskaya is still recovering after a long pause in her career, and our girls have proven their superiority over another jumper from Kazakhstan, Alexandra Gulyukina, a long time ago.

Kaisarova, whose preparations for the summer season were spoiled, again failed to overcome the 1.8 m mark and dropped out of the fight, securing third place. Dubovitskaya and Sadullayeva continued to fight among themselves.

Interestingly, the duelists are almost exactly the same age. Both were born in 1998, and both were born in March. Safina is only 8 days older than our Hope. But the superiority of the Uzbek athlete was still felt on this day. Dubovitskaya had problems even overcoming the 175 cm mark, coping with it only on the third attempt. With the last jump, she overcame 180 cm, but she could not jump higher. Sadullayeva, on the other hand, took all heights up to 185 centimeters on the first attempt, and only managed to overcome the above-mentioned bar only from the third jump. There was an attempt to storm 189 cm, but it ended unsuccessfully. As a result, two of our three jumpers managed to be on the podium, and Alexandra Krivitskaya still has a lot ahead of her.
