Results of the second competition day

Results of the second competitive day of the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship among boys and girls 1998-99

The stayer from Ridder won the bronze medal of the Championship of Kazakhstan

The race was very difficult for Moldir Seitkhanova. For all 15 laps, she tried to stay in the group of four leaders, but three laps before the finish, she “caught a gap” of twenty meters. It seemed impossible to win back such a handicap with obvious fatigue. But not for Seitkhanova! She eliminated most of the gap already on the turn, and a lap before the end of the race she managed to reach the third position and even impose a fight for silver! Alas, Moldir could not catch up with Svetlana Saunina, who came to the finish line second, and was left with a hard-earned bronze award.

Running at 3000 m. Girls:

1. Lada Fomina (SKO) – 10:56.87

2. Svetlana Saunina (Kyzylorda) – 10:59.30

3. Moldir SEITKHANOVA (East KAZAKHSTAN region) – 11:00.86

The triple jump was left to the Karaganda girls. All three steps of the podium of the Championship of Kazakhstan in the jumping discipline again went to the representatives of the Karaganda region.

The main sensation of the morning competition session was the result shown by Maria Ovchinnikova in the triple jump. If before the start of the Championship of Kazakhstan, her personal best was a jump just over the 12.3 m mark, then in Ust-Kamenogorsk, the representative of Karaganda exceeded this bar in almost every jump. In the final attempt before the jump, Maria asked the audience to support her, waited for applause, and jumped just to a crazy result by current standards – 12.8 m! This length allowed her to fulfill the standard for a trip to the Asian Championship in Qatar this spring!

Triple jump. Girls:

1. Maria Ovchinnikova (Karaganda) – 12.8 m

2. Diana Galkantaite (Karaganda) – 11.76 m

3. Alexandra Klyukas (Karaganda) – 11, 23 m

…7. Anastasia SAUER (East Kazakhstan Region) – 10.53 m

…9. Aida ESKALIEVA (East KAZAKHSTAN region) – 9.74 m

The national championship in the 3000 m race was played in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Following the girls, the strongest were revealed by the boys.

Kyzylorda’s Rakhymzhan Kelmanov became the champion in this discipline, ahead of competitors from Kyrgyzstan and Almaty at the finish line.

Running at 3000 m. Young men:

The flight of the core in 15.5 m decided the outcome of the fight for the championship among pushers. The Kazakhstan Athletics Championship among boys and girls 1998-99 continues to gain momentum.

4. Arthur GAFNER (East Kazakhstan Region) – 13.58 m

…11. Sayat ASYLKHANOV (East Kazakhstan Region) – 9.58 m

Nadezhda Dubovitskaya brought the first gold medal to the East Kazakhstan Region national team. High jump is our everything!

Competitions in the high jump sector ended with a real extravaganza for athletes of East Kazakhstan Region. Two representatives of our region performed here, and both ended up on the podium. Only a few girls fell short of personal bests. So Veta Kharitonova jumped 160 cm with a record of 165 cm, and Nadezhda Dubovitskaya jumped only two centimeters worse than her highest result – 168 cm. However, even this circumstance did not prevent the family woman from becoming the owner of the gold medal of the 2014 Kazakhstan Indoor championship.

By the way, the girls’ high jump was the only competition where the organizers had to award two medals of the same dignity at once. Veta Kharitonova and Ulyana Filina from Karaganda showed the same result with an equal number of attempts, so the Athletics Federation of Kazakhstan had to “fork out” for the second silver award.

High jump. Girls:

1. Nadezhda DUBOVITSKAYA (East Kazakhstan region) – 168 cm

2. Veta KHARITONOVA (East Kazakhstan region) – 160 cm

2. Ulyana Filina (Karaganda) – 160 cm

Alexandra Bochkareva “reached” the bronze medal. Another award is in the asset of East Kazakhstan athletes at the home Championship of Kazakhstan.

Sports walking in East Kazakhstan Region has just begun to rise from oblivion, but now the dream of medals at the championship of Kazakhstan has become a reality. Alexandra Bochkareva, who showed the third result among all walkers, was able to bring to life dreams about medals. Only two Almaty athletes passed the distance faster.

Sports walking at 3000 m. Girls:

1. Ekaterina Shlykova (Almaty) – 15:00.2

2. Valentina Zalevskaya (Almaty) – 15:26.2

3. Alexandra BOCHKAREVA (East Kazakhstan Region) – 18:36.1

The all–around is for Karaganda. Evgeny Pryadkin became the champion of Kazakhstan in the six-man event

All–rounders are special people. They are, first of all, generalists who must be good in all disciplines included in the competition program. In Ust-Kamenogorsk, the Karaganda resident Evgeny Pryadkin demonstrated the greatest stability, scoring the maximum amount of points – 3869.

The six-man event. Young men:

1. Evgeny Pryadkin (Karaganda) – 3869 points

…6. Aslan BEKENOV (East Kazakhstan Region) – 3181 points

A “wooden medal” for Kumarbekov. The athlete from East Kazakhstan Region became the fourth again.

The men’s 800-meter running competition in the framework of the Kazakhstan Championship among boys and girls has ended. The victory at this distance was won by the representative of the Almaty region Shatyz Duysenkhan, who became the only one who could “run out” of two minutes and four seconds. The future champion ran in the race of the strongest, but the second race turned out to be the most spectacular, where Zhandos Kumarbekov from East Kazakhstan Region took part. Our countryman managed to win his race in a dramatic struggle, but he became the fourth in time. He lost 0.96 seconds to the third place of Erzat Serikzhan!

Running at 800 m. Young men:

The best hurdler is in Karaganda. Vyacheslav Zems won the final 60 m hurdles race.

The Karagandin won with an indecent advantage of almost half a second!

Running 60 m hurdles. Young men:

Karaganda secured the team victory with a triumph in the relay. A quartet from the mining capital of Kazakhstan won gold medals at the national championship.

The main favorites had good opponents, but no team was able to give the leaders maximum trouble. At the finish line, the advantage of David Efremov, who was running in the rear of the Karaganda team, over the fourth number of Astana, Alexander Dibrov, who was running next, was almost a second!

1. Karaganda – 1:33.78

2. Astana – 1:34.47

3. Kostanay region – 1:36.7

…6. East Kazakhstan Region – 1:37.38

The king of the triple jump is Rasul Ismatov.

Karaganda resident Rasul Ismatov won the competition in the triple jump among the guys, completing a jump over the mark of 14 meters. No one else has submitted to this milestone, including East Kazakhstan citizen Ivan Dmitriev. As we have already got used to, the athlete from East Kazakhstan Region became the fourth in this discipline.

Triple jump. Men:

1. Rasul Ismatov (Almaty) – 14.03 m

2. Alexander Popov (Karaganda) – 13.28 m

3. Nikita Kornyshev (Almaty) – 12.94

4. Ivan DMITRIEV (East Kazakhstan Region) – 12.91 m

..7. Roman NOVIKOV (East Kazakhstan Region) – 12.46 m

8. Miras KAIDAROV (East Kazakhstan Region) – 12.25 m

9. Vasily BORISEVICH (East Kazakhstan Region) – 11.89 m

Two athletes from East Kazakhstan Region entered the top ten in the 200 m race. Getting to the finals at Usain Bolt’s favorite distance is still an impossible dream for our athletes.

The girls’ 200 m running final was marked by crazy competition. Almaty’s Anastasia Kasyanova won the championship with an advantage of only 0.01 seconds over Karaganda’s Ekaterina Chubar!

Running 200 m. Girls:

1. Anastasia Kasyanova (Almaty) – 26.33 s

2. Ekaterina Chubar (Karaganda) – 26.34 s

3. Tatyana Dvoynikova (Karaganda) – 26.57 m

..9. Alexandra EGORINA (East Kazakhstan Region) – 27.46 s

10. Anastasia ZAVODINA (East Kazakhstan Region) – 27.66 s

11. Diana ROGACHEVA (East Kazakhstan Region) – 27.82 s

Another round of confrontation between Rubakhina and Sayfullina. The hottest derby in the 800-meter race overshadowed even the success of the winners.

The girls got a stream with the participation of two representatives of East Kazakhstan Region, which was very spectacular in terms of emotional content of the 800 m race. Semeychanka Olga Rubakhina and Arina Saifullina from Ust-Kamenogorsk have long been sharpening their grudge against each other (but exclusively on treadmills) in the fight for the title of the strongest “middleweight” in our region. At the last East Kazakhstan Region championship, their race at a distance of 800 meters turned out to be crushing – the winner was determined only by a photo finish, which gave the title to Sayfullina. So Rubakhina was “charged” like never before. The course of the race showed this. Rubakhina and Saifullina held out the whole distance together and it seemed that the photo finish would step in again. However, on the last lap, the family woman attempted to break away and created a small gap between herself and Sayfullina. This was enough to achieve victory in a principled confrontation. The emotions that flooded Rubakhina can be seen in a special photo essay just below. The victory was won by Kyzylorda Anastasia Schadylo, who brought her competitors more than three seconds behind.

Running at 800 m. Girls:

1. Anastasia Schadylo (Kyzylorda) – 2:18.3

2. Adelina Akhmetova (Karaganda) – 2:21.47

3. Zarina Popova (SKO) – 2:22.71

4. Olga RUBAKHINA (East Kazakhstan Region) – 2:25.65

5. Arina SAIFULLINA (East Kazakhstan Region) – 2:27.01

..11. Kristina KHARITONOVA (East Kazakhstan Region) – 2:34.9

..15. Alina KADYLKURMANOVA (East KAZAKHSTAN Region) – 2:52.73

Oryngul Zkrienova won the Kazakhstan Championship in the 60 m hurdles. Winning the derby with Almaty

Oryngul Zkrienova won the Kazakhstan Championship in the 60 m hurdles. Winning the derby with Almaty

To say that this victory was expected in Ust-Kamenogorsk means to say nothing. Oryngul Zkrienova is already listed among the strongest pupils of the local athletics school, and she is also due to go to the Asian Championships in Qatar soon. And at the national championships, it was important to confirm her title as the country’s strongest hurdler. Moreover, the main competitor and irritant Kamila Niyazova from Almaty ran on the next track in the final. Niyazova has only recently recovered from surgery, but in any condition, this athlete can run like not every guy can!

The finale fully met expectations. Niyazova and Zkrienova went spike to spike, while both slightly hesitated at the start, so the final result could have been higher. Only Niyazova and Zkrienova were able to “run out” of 9 seconds, while Zkrienova’s advantage was a measly 0.03 seconds!

Running 60 m hurdles. Girls:

1. Oryngul ZKRIENOVA (East Kazakhstan region) – 8.82 s

2. Kamila Niyazova (Almaty) – 8.85 s

3. Anel Shulakova (Karaganda) – 9.08 s

..5. Daria DEMCHENKO (East Kazakhstan region) – 9.68 s

6. Erica KEM (East Kazakhstan Region) – 9.72 s

..13. Daria MERLINA (East Kazakhstan region) – 10.6 s

The girls’ relay of East Kazakhstan Region won the bronze medal of the Kazakhstan Athletics Championship. Anastasia Zavodina and Arina Saifullina have recorded the first awards of the home championship of Kazakhstan.

The bronze medal of the East Kazakhstan Region national team was brought by a quartet consisting of the above-mentioned athletes, as well as Oryngul Zkrienova and Veta Kharitonova. Our athletes could have raised it a step higher, but small hesitations during the transfer of the relay took precious seconds from our team. This medal has already become the seventh bronze award in the asset of the East Kazakhstan Region national team.

Relay race 4 to 200 m. Girls:

1. Karaganda-1 – 1:44.43

2. Almaty – 1:45.82

3. East Kazakhstan Region – 1:46.83
