The Open City Athletics Championship

For two whole days from September 6-7, the best young athletes of Ust-Kamenogorsk and surrounding villages fought for medals at the city’s Open Athletics Championship. However, the more delicious “piece” was not the awards, but the opportunity to perform at the upcoming Championship of Kazakhstan among athletes born in 1997 at the end of the month, reports 1720.kz . The national championship among 16-17 year old athletes will be held in Shymkent, where all the strongest representatives of East Kazakhstan Region will go. But to prove your worth in the national team, you need to go through two stages of selection, the first of which took place last weekend in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Despite the fact that representatives of four age categories at once performed in the sectors, including babies born in 2005, the main attention was still focused on those who could join the regional team, since representatives of Ridder and from the villages of Belousovka and Sugatovka came to the tournament. Of course, Vlad Sutyagin should go to Shymkent. At his crown distances, he proved that he is absolutely the strongest sprinter in Ust-Kamenogorsk and its surroundings. He had no equal either in the 100 meters or in the four times longer distance. It is noteworthy that at each of the previous starts, Sutyagin was opposed by the more experienced Semyon Arykin, gradually “pulling up” the promising Vladislav to his level. Without any doubt, it should be in the administrative center of South Kazakhstan region Oryngul Zkrienova. Another bright representative of the sprint has not known defeats in the “intra-team” arena for a long time, and has probably already got bored without really powerful competition. On September 7, Zkrienova ran the two-hundred-meter race in 26.48 seconds, which is a result that sets up hope for a medal at this distance. At the same time, it should always be borne in mind that hurdling is still a profile for Oryngul. Ridder representative of the stayer race Moldir Seitkhanova. In her age category, she has again become the strongest in the 1500-meter race, and will clearly be our main striking force in Shymkent in endurance races. In total, over seventy athletes climbed the podium at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Championship, at least seven of whom became two-time champions of the city: Anastasia Zavodina, Vlad Sutyagin, Polina Pokladova, Diana Rogacheva, Erica Kem, Lev Lagutin and Georgy Ermolov.
