The Winter Indoor Triathlon Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Astana from February 22 to 24. Recall that the first branch in Ust-Kamenogorsk, opened on the basis of East Kazakhstan Region SDYUSSHOR, was opened recently, but is already steadily gaining momentum.
On the first day, the participants competed in swimming, the second day was dedicated to cycling, and on the final day, the athletes competed in running.
Athletes from the East Kazakhstan region were able to win two prizes: Anastasia Mavrina from Ust-Kamenogorsk took bronze in the F-Elite category, and Margarita Garikova, who performs in the F-U17 category, took first place. The girl was able to correctly distribute her forces into all three disciplines, which allowed her to become the best and climb to the first step of the podium.
The next launch will take place in Taraz for the Elite category in April. The Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation is expanding the geography of the starts on the map of our homeland.
