Three East Kazakhstan athletes – Ekaterina Efremova (400 m running and 4po400 m relay), Elizabeth Matveeva (high jump) and Anastasia Zavodina (long jump) – took part in the Asian Championship among 20 Kazakhstani track and field athletes.
