On January 29, the Martial Arts Palace hosted an event within the framework of “Jastar Qazaqstan 2019”, where the works of young talents in various fields of activity were noted. This ceremony was not complete without the participation of our athletes. Read more in our material.
This year has been officially declared the “Year of Youth”, the decree was signed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev himself. So, in Ust-Kamenogorsk, a whole celebration dedicated to a new and bright event was organized, where the works of the younger generation, namely those who made a significant contribution to the life of our country, were celebrated.
One of the honored guests of the ceremony was Olympic champion Olga Rypakova.
– I wish you health, happiness, and be sure to exercise. – our athlete addressed all the residents of Kazakhstan in one of the interviews. – It is sport that helps you achieve all your goals and stay on the right path!
During the event, Olga Sergeevna awarded Elizaveta Matveeva, a high-rise athlete, a member of the Altay Athletics Club, for the girl’s effective performances. “The best athlete of 2018 in East Kazakhstan Region in athletics” – this is exactly how the nomination of our Ustkamenogorsk jumper sounds.
– My coach Lyudmila Valentinovna Peshko told me that they want to reward me. It was very pleasant for me, at these moments you realize that your work is appreciated. When you see the satisfied eyes of your coach, the pride in them, you are very happy. My merits are also hers, because she put so much effort and patience into me. And of course, I’m still impressed, because Olga Rypakova herself awarded me! – tells Elizabeth.
The works of not only athletes are really appreciated. Also during the celebration, the Altai volleyball team, a boxer and a novice poet were awarded.
Such meetings are a great motivation for young people, because the main thing is that in our country there is someone to take an example from!
