On March 21, the athletics center “Olga Rypakova” will host athletics Kids athletics competitions among children from orphanages in the East Kazakhstan region.
Team athletics competitions among children born in 2004 – 2011, who are brought up in orphanages of East Kazakhstan region “Children’s Village” and “Umit”, will be held in Ust-Kamenogorsk before one of the most important holidays of the country. These competitions, initiated by the Altay Athletics Club, are held with the aim of popularizing athletics in Kazakhstan, promoting a healthy lifestyle, identifying the strongest guys for further involvement in systematic athletics, as well as simply pleasing children with valuable and interesting gifts. The decision to hold such competitions was also supported by the Athletics Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Athletics Federation of the East Kazakhstan region, East Kazakhstan Region SDYUSSHOR, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of East Kazakhstan Region and the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Ust-Kamenogorsk.
More recently, official information appeared on social networks that Akim of Ust-Kamenogorsk Zhaksylyk Omar is launching the #NarruNauryz challenge. “The purpose of this event is to provide charitable assistance and support to people in need,” the official website of the city akimat on Instagram reported. Our management and members of athletic organizations could not stay away.
– Yes, we are preparing for a sports event, – said Askhat Seisembekov, director of the Altay Athletics club. – The competition program has already been drawn up, we are in the process of organizing. We want to attract children’s attention to our sport as much as possible, this challenge has become another opportunity to please children, diversify their lives and give them a chance to try their hand at the competitive process. The sponsors will be a children’s goods store Marwin and the Gas Energy gas station chain, and our Olympic champion Olga Rypakova will present gifts to the participants.
The competition program: hurdling, team long jump from a standing position, rocket throwing, throwing a stuffed ball from behind the head, jumping rope in 20 seconds, lifting the torso in 20 seconds, push-ups from a prone position from the chest in 20 seconds, jumping competitions “Cross” and “Formula 1”.
The opening ceremony of the competition is at 10:00 a.m.
