The national team of Kazakhstan won the first “Eurasian Athletics Meeting”

The second day of the I “EURASIAN ATHLETICS MEETING U20” has also ended in Almaty. Kazakhstan scored the most points among the six national junior teams, marking the beginning of a tradition of victorious home performances at international match meetings.

The junior national team of Kazakhstan became the winner of the international match meeting, scoring 254 points in the tournament piggy bank. Uzbekistan took the second place with 184 points. The Tajik team earned 115 points and became the third, defending its right to the top three in the confrontation with Kyrgyzstan (112 points). India (77) and Belarus (75) shared fifth and sixth places, respectively.

RUNNING 200 M

What the athletes of Altai Athletics did at the Kazakhstan Junior Championship at this distance, they almost managed to repeat at the international match meeting in Almaty. Then, we recall, the entire podium was occupied by representatives of East Kazakhstan Region with Efim Tarasov at its top step. Tarasov was not present at the match meeting, but the quality of his performance did not decrease. We also have other miracle heroes who are able to win. Both Feshchenko and Aksyutin were equally worthy of the gold medal, which is confirmed by the results, because they separated both athletes by only 0.01 seconds! Aksyutin, who won, set his new personal best at this distance. The previous personal achievement has been held since February 2018 and was equal to 22.52 s. Vladimir Feshchenko did the same. His progress turned out to be even more impressive, because his previous personal best was 22.72 s. Alexander Aksyutin became the first two-time winner of international match meetings in the history of Kazakhstan with the participation of teams from far abroad in the history of Kazakhstan. Yesterday he also won as part of the 4-100m relay.

Men (8 participants):

1. Alexander AKSYUTIN (Kazakhstan, Altai Athletics-2) – 22.47

2. Vladimir FESHCHENKO (Kazakhstan, Altai Athletics-2) – 22.48

3. Azamat Taurov (Uzbekistan) – 22.53

Alexandra Sytina was simply beaming with happiness after the finish. She had two reasons for this state at once: firstly, she won an international match meeting for the first time, and secondly, for the first time in her life she “ran out” of 25 seconds. At the same time, Alexandra is only 16 years old! Anastasia Trifonova has also updated her highest achievement!

Girls (6 participants):

1. Alexandra SYTINA (Kazakhstan) – 24.96

2. Anastasia TRIFONOVA (Kazakhstan) – 25.27

3. Alena Butsia (Belarus) – 26.31

RUNNING 800 M

Karagandinets Sergey Sukhov dragged the whole honest company on himself, leading the race. This, as you know, is a thankless task, and he lost the lead at the finish line. However, he allowed himself to be bypassed only by the representative of India, having won the battle for the silver medal from a very interesting “middleweight” from Kyrgyzstan, Mikhail Soloshenko.

Men (7 participants):

1. Nandakumar Sreekiran (India) – 1:54.62

2. Sergey SUKHOV (Kazakhstan) – 1:56.12

3. Mikhail Soloshenko (Kyrgyzstan) – 1:56.99

One of the few disciplines in which Kazakhstani athletes did not find a place in the top three. At the same time, it would not be easy for Kazakhstan to claim a medal even if the national champion at that distance, Ulyana Plekhanova, took part in this meeting. Even if Ulyana had repeated her result of the victorious junior Championship of Kazakhstan, she would still have lost to the top three by about five seconds.

Girls (6 participants):

1. Kamila Radjabova (Uzbekistan) – 2:11.68

2. Daniel Priscilla (India) – 2:12.43

3. Ina Novik (Belarus) – 2:12.43

…5. Nadezhda YURCHENKO (Kazakhstan) – 2:26.55

RUNNING 3000 M

Marjona Baratova beat all her competitors by a lap, winning the gold medal with more than a clear advantage. Kazakhstani athletes Kristina Morozova and Ryana Zeynalova competed outside the competition. Morozova showed the second time in the race (11:28.23).

Girls (4 participants):

1. Marjona Baratova (Uzbekistan) – 10:30.73

2. Cholpon Takhzabekova (Kyrgyzstan) – 11:38.30

 RUNNING 5000 M

We have a lot to learn from the brothers from Kyrgyzstan. The winner of the race, Nursultan Keneshbekov, was ahead of absolutely all athletes by a lap, bringing the winner of the second place, the Champion of Kazakhstan at this distance, Daniyar Ormangali from Kazakhstan, more than a minute behind.

Another representative of our country, Ilham Yerkabayev, finished the distance third (16:27.16), but performed out of competition, so he did not get on the podium.

Men (7 participants):

1. Nursultan Keneshbekov (Kyrgyzstan) – 14:48.86

2. Daniyar ORMANGALI (Kazakhstan) – 15:57.65

3. Bobojon Yakinov (Tajikistan) – 16:42.13

MIXED RELAY 4 TO 400 M

It was very difficult to win this silver award. Ayim Kaysanova ran the first stage in our team, while the guys set the pace for three national teams at once, and no matter how great this representative of Altai Athletics-2 was, she could not compete with the men. However, the next stages of Sergei Stepankovsky and Alexandra Zalyubovskaya allowed Kazakhstan to become the leaders of the race, and Artyom Dobrosyslov ran away at the last stage, having a good advantage. But the Hindu Abdul Razak Rashid made an incredible splash at the last stage. It would be possible to keep him except for Efim Tarasov, so it is hardly possible to make any claims to Dobrosyslov, who gave all his strength on the track.

Five teams:

1. India – 3:30.58

2. KAZAKHSTAN (KAYSANOVA. Stepankovsky, Zalyubovskaya, Dobrosyslov) – 3:31.62

3. Kyrgyzstan – 3:49.78

 RUNNING 110 M HURDLES

Danila Corr from Karaganda was the main favorite of this race. He just has the most experience of all the participants at this distance. Moreover, he had a successful experience – in February of this year, at a similar match meeting in Minsk, he won a silver medal, becoming the first our junior to be awarded a podium at the European international level. Here, unlike in Minsk, two silver or gold awards did not have to be awarded, since Corr was much faster than everyone else, ahead of the nearest pursuer by 0.12 seconds at once. Danila significantly improved his result compared to the junior national championship, where he ran this distance in 14.61 seconds.

Men (3 participants):

1. Danila CORR (Kazakhstan) – 14.29

2. Rakhmanjon Italmosov (Uzbekistan) – 14.41

3. Danil Karin (Kyrgyzstan) – 16.05

RUNNING 100 M HURDLES

One of those cases where youth is not a problem. Asian all-around champion Adina Makhsutova won the 110 m hurdles race with a clear advantage.

Girls (4 participants):

1. Adina MAKHSUTOVA (Kazakhstan) – 14.92

2. Khurshidabon Kholieva (Uzbekistan) – 15.14

3. Anna DUBINA (Kazakhstan) – 15.18

RUNNING 400 M HURDLES

The courage of Uzbek athlete Italmosov should simply be applauded standing up, because after running 110 m hurdles, he also took part in a distance almost four times longer. It is noteworthy that in both of his races, completed on the same day with minimal rest time, he became the second. Timur Khudaibergenov almost exactly repeated his result of the junior Championship of Kazakhstan, improving his achievement by 0.01 s.

Men (5 participants):

1. Timur KHUDAIBERGENOV (Kazakhstan) – 53.82

2. Rakhmanjon Italmosov (Uzbekistan) – 55.50

3. Leonid Pronzhenko (Tajikistan) – 55.69

Another duel between two Ust-Kamenogorsk runners Ekaterina Efremova and Svetlana Malezhina again ended in favor of the first of them. Efremova was able to surpass her compatriot again only after the final barrier literally in the last meters. Malezhina set a new personal record.

Girls (7 participants):

1. Valentina Chumbar (Belarus) – 1:00.18

2. Ekaterina EFREMOVA (Kazakhstan, Altai Athletics-2″) – 1:03:36

3. Svetlana MALEZHINA (Kazakhstan) – 1:03.68

SPRING IN LENGTH

Adil Ramet, who celebrated his 18th birthday today, could not make himself a gift in the form of an international match meeting medal. But the birthday boy will certainly be satisfied with his result, leading by 7 meters for the past two weeks, no one has won the named junior championship of Kazakhstan: neither Ramet himself, nor the champion of Kazakhstan in long jump Nikita Osinsky, But it came to the “Eurasian Meeting”, as well as to this landmark milestone.

It’s a shame for the Uzbek athlete Noriev, If the average flight range for all attempts was taught as the final result, then he would be the champion, leading each of his jumps “lay down” at about 7.2 m. The Belarusian athlete jumped far than Noriev all at once for this start, but this time was enough to win

Men (6 sites):

1. Kirill Sots (Belarus) – 7.32

2. Javokhir Noriev (Uzbekistan) – 7.21

3. Ildar Akhmadiev (Tajikistan) – 7.10

4. Nikita OSINSKY (Kazakhstan) – 7.05

5. Adil RAMET – Kazakhstan) – 7.00

We thank the foreign guests, our athletics fans were able to see jumps over the 6 m mark and very close to it. Alina Yablokova broke the first part of the ovation for her springs, but the farthest of them was performed by her already in the very first spring.

Girls (7 participants):

1. Alina Yablokova (Uzbekistan) – 6.11

2. Roksana Khudoyarova (Uzbekistan) – 5.98

3. Alexandra Chura (Belarus) – 5.84

4. Anastasia ZAVODINA (Kazakhstan) – 5.65

 High jump

It is unknown how these competitions would have ended if Uzbek athlete Alina Yablokova had not felt pain in her leg and had not withdrawn from the competition. Perhaps Elizaveta Matveeva would have set a new personal record, which she tried to storm again at 184 cm. The third attempt in this assault was incredibly good, but the bar still fell treacherously slowly, it seemed after that height was conquered.

Girls (3 participants):

1. Elizaveta MATVEEVA (Kazakhstan, Altai Athletics) – 1.80

2. Kristina OVCHINNIKOVA (Kazakhstan, Altai Athletics) – 1.75

3. Alina Yablokova (Uzbekistan) – 1.65

 SHOT PUT

Two Kazakhstani athletes Alina Vorontsova and Karina Vasilyeva took part in the competition, but showed an absolutely unambiguous result, which theoretically could force the organizers to give out two silver medals at once (11.28 m).

Girls (4 participants):

1. Regina Adashbayeva (Uzbekistan) – 13.36

2. Lolakhon Zhumaeva (Tajikistan) – 7.00

 DISCUS THROWING

Rashid Sodikov became a two-time winner of the I “EURASIAN ATHLETICS MEETING U20”. Yesterday he became a triumphant shot putter.

Men (4 participants):

1. Rashid Sodikov (Uzbekistan) – 49.78

2. Danil Plotnikov (Kazakhstan) – 46.69

3. Manzarshoh Azamzoda (Tajikistan) – 37.79

JAVELIN THROWING

Yadav Rohit threw a javelin further than the junior record of Kazakhstan, which, as is known, belongs to Ustkamenogorets Arthur Gafner (72.77 m).

Men (4 participants):

1. Yadav Rohit (India) – 74.55

2. Sylwal Sahil (India) – 72.36

3. Alexander LYSENKO (KAZAKHSTAN) – 48.61
