In 2020, the main winter championship of the country will be held on January 17-18. According to the recently established tradition, this republican start will be held at the Olga Rypakova indoor athletics center in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The competitions are personal, with a team score. The regions and cities of Kazakhstan will be represented by the best athletes who are pre-selected for the championship at the local level.
The competition program
Men:
Running – 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 60m s/b, 2000m s/p, 4x200m and 4x400m relay races;
Jumping – height, pole, length, triple;
Throwing – shot put;
Sport walking – 5000m;
All-around – 7-borye.
Women:
Running – 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 60m s/b, 2000m s/p, 4x200m and 4x400m relay races;
Jumping – height, pole, length, triple;
Throwing – shot put;
Sport walking – 5000m;
All-around – 5-round.
As well as a 4x400m mixed relay.
In total, 30 individual sports and 5 relay races will be played at the Kazakhstan Indoor Championships.
