The Championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan among juniors U20 (2001-2002) and junior boys and girls U16 (2005-2006) have ended in Ust-Kamenogorsk
In three days, 593 athletes from almost all regions of the country took part in the republican competitions, except for the Atyrau region: 163 men and 121 women (U20), as well as 139 boys and 170 girls (U16).
The national team of the East Kazakhstan region won the team standings of both Championships: 20,906 (U20) and 19,245 (U16) points. Athletes from Almaty took the second place among the U20 juniors, 20,557. The top three leaders were rounded out by the Karaganda team – 18,994.
In the category of junior boys and girls U16, Karaganda residents were second in the standings with 16,154 points. Shymkent took the third place, 11,200.
