Honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karpova Vera Fedorovna was honored at the 16-17 XVI open Republican match between boys and girls of the Ministry of youth and youth of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Karaganda in 2008-2009. Among the girls, the national team of the East Kazakhstan region, having scored 932 points, took the fifth place in the overall team. The boys finished sixth overall team place with 1,012 points.
