Olga Rypakova: “We think the land of London will help us!”

In early April, the leading athletes of the Republic of Kazakhstan began a training camp in Antalya. All athletes went to work out in warm Turkey with the exception of Olga Rypakova At this time, the Olympic champion is engaged in the walls of her native Ustkamenogorsk athletics center. Rypakova’s first competitions will start on the eighth of June in Rome. The annual Diamond League will be held in the Italian capital. – We are preparing at the Ustkamenogorsk base. All conditions for high-quality training have been created here,” Denis Rypakov shared. – Olga’s first start will take place in Rome in June, so it’s too early to go to warmer climes (smiles). There will be no competitions before that, she will immediately go to the Diamond League. The preparation is going well, everything is according to plan! Ahead of us lies the main start of this year – the World Cup, which will be held in London. Today, just after the training process, we managed to talk with Olga herself. – Now the strongest athletes of our country have training camps in Turkey, but you stayed in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Tell us, what mode are you currently working in? – I practice a little bit in a different mode, not like the whole national team. My starts are later, so I’m just a little bit behind. But we are training according to the plan, now, more strength and functional training. Other athletes are already training at the stadium, but I don’t need these conditions yet. We’ll get to them a little later! – The Diamond League starts on May 5 in less than a month. Would you like to hear comments about these competitions? – I don’t have any starts in May yet, then there will be other types of athletics. The triple jump competition will begin in June. That’s why I have a slightly stretched workout. We will keep an eye on other athletes for now, it’s interesting to see the results! – What kind of shape are you in now? How do you feel? – I’m in a very working mood right now! It’s pretty hard training at the moment. We are doing everything to gain a base on which it will be possible to build special training. The most basic work for the whole season is underway now! – The World Championship will be held in London in August. Don’t you think it’s symbolic? – To be honest, yes (smiles). We love this city very much! We have good memories with him, there is a favorable atmosphere there. Of course, I want everything to turn out the way we planned. We will be preparing very purposefully for this World Cup. – Are there any worries before this season? – Yes, of course. There is a sports jitters, but I think this is the right adrenaline rush. He helps me in competitions, you can say that I feel out of place without him. If there is no feeling of excitement at all, then some kind of apathy sets in. For me, it should be present at any competition, be it the national championship or the World Championship. Through these experiences, you set goals for yourself, and you want them to be achieved. That’s when you realize what you’ve been preparing for. First of all, it is a great responsibility to yourself! Inna Semenyak A source: vksport.kz

Anastasia Kaloshina fulfilled the standard for the Asian Championship in Bangkok

On the eighth of April, the city’s throwing and long-distance running championships were held. The first competition for our athletes was the hammer throw. And for one of the girls, it played a special role. Anastasia Kaloshina has secured a ticket to the Asian Championship, which will be held on May 20-23 in Thailand. The athlete finished the championship with a score of 51.36 m – this figure is as much as ten meters higher than the result of the vice-champion of the city, who became Daria Demchenko. And Anastasia Pavlova took the third place in the final protocol. Among the five guys, the first was the bronze medalist of the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in throwing, which was held recently in Shymkent – Oleg Lyubimov with a score of 47.61 m. Dmitry Lukichev is in second place in the final protocol – 41.33 m. By the way, the athlete set a new personal record today, the previous one was 39.58 m. Maxim Torlopov managed to become the third. Discus Throwing In fact, Lukichev was lucky four times, in addition to throwing the hammer, the guy set a new personal record in the discus throw – 40.23 m (the previous one was 39.94 m), and also became the winner of this competition. Lukicheva was lucky in the shot put for the fourth time, but more on that later. Sergey Krashennikov managed to become the second in the discus throw among the guys, and there were six of them, with a score of 38.74 m, Mark Schultz received the award for third place. There were five girls competing in this discipline. Daria Demchenko managed to win the title of champion, this prize was her second in these competitions. Leila Tolegenova followed her in the final protocol, and Valeria Yevtushenko became the bronze medalist. Javelin throwing The next throwing discipline in which our athletes competed was javelin throwing. There were nine participants in this competition among men. Strangely enough, Magzhan Zhakpybekov became the best with a score of 47.20 m. The Magzhan indicator is further by as much as 11.69 m from the result of Georgy Ermolov, who took second place. Vladislav Bakhtin was in third place – 33.88 m. Among the girls, Veta Kharitonova became the best javelin thrower in the city. Elizaveta Matveeva received the award for the second place, and Sofia Stuckert for the third. Shot put Before this competition, it was not even worth guessing who would become the best in this discipline. Anastasia Kaloshina took the first place with a score of 10.29 m. It is a pity that, for health reasons, another shot putter, Erica Kem, had to miss this championship, but if there had been Erica, Kaloshina clearly had powerful competition. The second and third places were shared by Kristina and Veta Kharitonov. As we have already said, Dmitry Lukichev was also lucky in the shot put. The athlete became the best in this competition with a score of 12.23 m. Alexander Ibragimov is on the second line of the final protocol – 10.71 m, and Sergey Krashennikov is on the third. 1000 m running The guys in this running discipline had to be divided into two age categories 1999-2001, as well as 2002 and younger. Five athletes took part in the 1999-2001 group. Amir Mamyrbekov, Dmitry Vyshev and Ermek Askarov took the first to third place. The children of the younger age category started as a part of ten people. Roman Martynov turned out to be the fastest with a result of 3:19.8, Kuanysh Zhaparov finished in second place with more than two seconds behind Roman, and Zhakarys Maratov became the third. The girls of the group born in 2002 and younger also had ten members. It was interesting that Evgenia Borodulina, who came running first, showed a result 0.1 seconds less than Roman Martynov. Elizaveta Buluchevskaya became the vice-champion in the 1000 m race, Arina Saifulina managed to consolidate the list of winners. The girls ran very well, these three managed to break away from other competitors, and hold out like that throughout the competition. 3000 m running Five athletes took part in this discipline among men, and one runner among girls, Tannur Sarsenkhan, took part at all. The men’s prizes were distributed as follows: first place – Ersin Ekpin, second – Omir Amalnat, third – Elaman Koksigenov. Championship results Hammer throwing. Women: 1. We raise the level of knowledge

The training process for athletes takes place in the same rhythm, and athletes cannot miss the chances to spend time not only usefully, but also interestingly. Today, the guys, led by coach Bogdan Veselsky, went to the base of the Kazakhstan national athletics team in order to personally see with their own eyes how the most productive athletes of the republic are training. The athletes of the national team devoted their precious time with pleasure. From the very morning, the best jumpers of the Republic of Kazakhstan were in the role of coaches for our children – Roman Valiev, a participant in four Olympic Games since 2004, and this athlete is also a master of sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan of international class performing in the triple jump – an athlete’s personal record of 17.20 m and, together with Roman, a participant in the World Championship in Berlin held a master class and in Moscow in the long jump – Konstantin Safronov – 8.10 m personal best. Productivity is precisely this word that has become the main thing in today’s training of our athletes. To receive personal instructions and wishes from athletes such as Roman and Konstantin, and most importantly, to watch the exercises in reality and try them in practice, is at least just happiness for novice athletes. This is really a great experience for our children, which we hope will affect their sports careers in the future. Satisfied, filled with positivity and new knowledge, the athletes went home, because they were waiting for another productive workout! Inna Semenyakina A source: vksport.kz
Who trains, he has a good rest (+PHOTO)

Track and field athletes of East Kazakhstan Region went to Kyrgyzstan to Lake Issyk-Kul in the Cholpon-Ata area, and now I would like to present to your attention an article about one of the athletes’ training days. In fact, these guys’ mornings start off like an ordinary teenager’s. The athletes rise at seven-thirty in the morning, then the children go to morning routines, and then for a jog. Athletes have to run for six kilometers, along the largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, Issyk-Kul, judging by the photos, this place is really very beautiful, and after such a brisk morning run, the children go to breakfast. The first training of athletes begins at 10:00. The children are engaged in jumping on the sand, after which they go to lunch. Then, as expected, athletes are sent to rest until 16:00, and then the next training session begins. This training is much harder than the first one, but in any case, the children cope with it successfully. Accelerated running uphill, throwing stones, various hikes – all these are activities that bring athletes not only benefits, but also the opportunity to test themselves on endurance. This is followed by dinner, time for personal matters and lights out. With such a clear regime, the days fly by completely unnoticed for athletes. In addition to the fact that children have such a busy schedule, weekends are, of course, present in the schedule. For example, today our athletes had a day off, and they could not spend it without benefit! Accompanied by coaches, the athletes went to the famous 2,200 m high mountain named after the Russian track and field athlete, Olympic champion 2004, World Champion, three-time European champion, Honored Master of Sports of Russia 2001, and the head coach Russia’s athletics champion since 2015 – Yuri Borzakovsky. The main distance at which Yuri performs is 800 m. Having studied the biography of this athlete, and judging by the above titles, this athlete is one of the best examples for the younger generation The path of the athletes was truly interesting. At first, the children, together with the coaches, climbed the first mountain with a height of 1700 m, although the athletes themselves are located at an altitude of 1400 m above sea level. Then it was more difficult, so considering that such a hike would be too difficult for the female half, the young ladies, along with the female half of the coaches, were sent back. Then the real men went! The guys, led by Bogdan Veselsky, went to another mountain, which is 200 m higher. As a result, the athletes managed to climb to a height of 500 m. The view from there is really incredible, the evidence of that is the photos of the athletes sent. The route of the athletes, although it was very difficult, but everyone managed to reach it. After such an exciting hike, the athletes all went to recover in radon baths. A source: vksport.kz

Oryngul Zkrienova is the champion of Central Asia in the 60 m hurdles

On March 1-3, Tashkent hosted the International competitions of the teams of the Central Asian countries among juniors, in which two athletes of East Kazakhstan Region took part. For our athletes, this tournament ended successfully. Ust-Kamenogorsk athlete Oryngul Zkrienova, who competed in the 60 m hurdles, became the champion of these competitions. There were seven participants in this race, and as the athlete herself says, she did not start very well. But, nevertheless, a miracle happened, and Oryngul completed these competitions with an indicator of 9.07 s. Having become the first, Zkrienova is still dissatisfied with the result, saying that it could have been better. Nadezhda Dubovitskaya, an athlete from Semey, became another representative of East Kazakhstan Region. Nadezhda competed in the high jump, and, unfortunately, the jumper failed to confirm her last year’s Asian champion title, this time the athlete became the vice-champion with a score of 175 cm. Now the girls have a break, and they went to recovery camps, because soon they will take part in the championship of Kazakhstan, and then Asia. Inna Semenyak A source: vksport.kz
