Rasul Akhmetalinov is a three–time champion of the East Kazakhstan Region SDYUSSHOR among track and field athletes born in 2006.

In our next review, dedicated to the completed championship of East Kazakhstan Region SDYUSSHOR, let’s talk about our little leaders who were born in 2006. Children of this age group competed in only three disciplines: 50 m running, 50 m hurdling and long jump. Of the eight strongest sprint participants, Daria Lykova became the “top” with a score of 7.8 seconds, followed by Ksenia Aparinova with a difference of 0.1 seconds. Aparinova also managed to take prizes in other disciplines. The girl became the champion in the 50 m hurdles and the bronze medalist in the long jump with a score of 3.45 m. By the way, another jumper Renata Oberman had the same indicator, but Renata still managed to be in second place in the final protocol. Oberman also became the vice-champion in the hurdles, and the third in the sprint. Aim Altayeva became another bright participant.  The athlete became the leader in the long jump, and Aim also won a bronze medal in the 50 m hurdles. Rasul Akhmetalinov became the three-time champion among boys. But that’s not all, it so happened that Kanagat Manash became the vice-champion twice in the same disciplines, who was able to hold out in the final protocol for Akhmetalinov, and Manash was able to take third place in the long jump with a result of 3.45 m.   Results of athletes born in 2006 Running 50 m. Oryngul Zkrienova is the champion of Central Asia in the 60 m hurdles

On March 1-3, Tashkent hosted the International competitions of the teams of the Central Asian countries among juniors, in which two athletes of East Kazakhstan Region took part. For our athletes, this tournament ended successfully. Ust-Kamenogorsk athlete Oryngul Zkrienova, who competed in the 60 m hurdles, became the champion of these competitions. There were seven participants in this race, and as the athlete herself says, she did not start very well. But, nevertheless, a miracle happened, and Oryngul completed these competitions with an indicator of 9.07 s. Having become the first, Zkrienova is still dissatisfied with the result, saying that it could have been better. Nadezhda Dubovitskaya, an athlete from Semey, became another representative of East Kazakhstan Region. Nadezhda competed in the high jump, and, unfortunately, the jumper failed to confirm her last year’s Asian champion title, this time the athlete became the vice-champion with a score of 175 cm. Now the girls have a break, and they went to recovery camps, because soon they will take part in the championship of Kazakhstan, and then Asia. Inna Semenyak A source: vksport.kz

Only Viktorenko and Ektova held out

A week ago, the III International Tournament for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova ended, and we would like to present to your attention an overview of the changes in the records of these competitions. 60 M HURDLES It was 8.15 s . Stanislav Ostanin. It became 8.04 s . Vyacheslav Zems So, this year the participants of the tournament managed to set eight new records. And Vyacheslav Zems, an athlete from the Karaganda region, became the first, he managed to become the winner and a new record holder in the 60 m / b run. Vyacheslav managed to “break away” from the previous leader Stanislav Ostanin by 0.11 s. 800 m Tatiana Neroznak – 2:09.4   Not only did such a number of athletes become record holders, this year a new discipline was included in the program – the 800 m among women. Four athletes took part in this competition, and Tatyana Neroznak became the first and only record holder with a score of 2:09.4. It was 1:54.86. Hakim Ibragimov. It became – 1:52.58. Sergey Zaikov   The men’s 800 m run, indeed, could not be completed without a “highlight”. Last year, as we remember, Hakim Ibrahimov from Azerbaijan became the best in this distance, and this time his record had to go down as much as the fourth step. Three athletes from Kazakhstan managed to surpass the previous result of the Azerbaijani athlete. Sergey Zaikov – 1:52.58, Imanmadi Kusmanov – 1:53.00, Duman Gabdugaliev – 1:54.01, these indicators are much stronger, because even the result of the third prize-winner Duman Gabdugaliev is 0.85 s higher. It was 8:37.98. Artem Kosinov. It became 8:33.71. Mikhail Krasilov.   Mikhail Krasilov set a new record in the 3000 m running – 8:33.71, leaving behind last year’s record holder Artyom Kosinov. It seems that with such an indicator, it will not be so easy to overtake Krasilov, if only because the current result is much higher than last year’s. With a difference of 4.27 seconds, Mikhail completed the competition, and became the new record holder. It was 13.40. Tatiana Ptashkina. It became – 13.59. Irina Ektova In the triple jump, there were two athletes at once, men and women, who beat the previous record holders. Irina Ektova is one of the best athletes in the triple jump, in the championships of Kazakhstan in the winter season, the first places on the account of this Pavlodar jumper. Irina set a decent record – 13.59 m, she managed to jump 19 cm further than Tatyana Ptashkina last year. It was 16.26. Roman Valiev. It became 16.59. Levon Aghasyan.    Levon Aghasyan, an athlete from Armenia, also became the new record holder in the triple jump – 16.59 m was his result. In fact, this figure is much higher than last year. Roman Valiev from Pavlodar became the best in 2016 at this tournament in the triple jump with a score of 16.26. Now you can understand the huge difference in comparison between the athletes. And finally, about the most important thing! To this day, in the table of record holders for all three years, two athletes remain in the top places – Alexander Viktorenko in the 60 m run and Ekaterina Ektova in the long jump. In the entire existence of this International Tournament, no one has yet managed to beat these athletes. Viktorenko takes the first position with a score of 6.82 s, and Ektova remains the best with a jump of 6.23 m. These records have been held since 2015, when the tournament was not yet international. With such achievements, the III International Tournament for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova ended, and we will find out what awaits our athletes next only next year. Denis Rypakov: “We will open branches in the region”

At the end of the winter season, our correspondent managed to meet with Denis Sergeevich Rypakov, Director of the KSU of the East Kazakhstan Region for Athletics, and ask him questions about the progress of work in the East Kazakhstan Athletics Federation. – With the opening of the athletic center, children and adults have the opportunity to fully engage in athletics. What has changed since then? And what is the arena like today? – Firstly, with the advent of the arena, most people have the opportunity to study in decent conditions.  Now the possibilities have increased enormously and opened up. Our coaches and children have 5 thousand square meters of usable space at their disposal. Unas is a certified arena, because it’s nice when children are provided with everything and there is all the equipment to practice. The boarding school for gifted children in sports is growing, we go on trips with children, coaches take all kinds of courses, we are cozy and very comfortable. Recently, the national team of Kazakhstan came, they have been training with us in winter for the third year. Because, unfortunately, there is nowhere else to train in Kazakhstan. In fact, I would like every region to have such an arena. This will give an impetus to the development of athletics, the improvement of the nation, and we will be able to enter the top 30 countries. – The number of competitions has increased recently, what is the reason for this? – We have the only arena that has a certificate of the second category of the International Athletics Federation. There are six tracks in a circle and eight tracks in the center – this is an opportunity for six athletes to participate in the finals at once at running distances from 200 m and above, as well as eight people can immediately prepare to compete in the sprint finals. This creates a chance for athletes, which has doubled, and also increases entertainment (smiles). – What tasks does the Athletics Federation set for this year? – We have big tasks for this year. First of all, to raise the material base in Semey, where new pits for high jumps are needed, because a high-rise athlete, champion of Kazakhstan Nadezhda Dubovitskaya lives there. They need good sectors for the pole, the core, so that athletes can prepare with dignity. Also, Ridder – there is a task to finally close the circle, because for how many decades athletes have been training in a straight shuttle run, but nevertheless they train such strong athletes. We are also opening branches in Semey, Ridder, Kokpekty, we will replenish equipment, materials, we will train judges, we also want more volunteers. – Mass character or achievements, what are your priorities? – These are our two priorities, we need to try. We need to develop both. As they say, “From mass sports to an Olympic medal.” There is no such thing as one without the other. The more children come to us to study, the more we have the opportunity to attract attention so that the child stays here and realizes himself. – Now there is a tendency to send children to sports as early as possible. Is there a danger in sending children to such a serious sport as athletics? – I think it’s not worth rushing. From the age of 9-10, you need to send children to sports. I joined athletics myself at the age of 12 from another sport. There is no need to hurry here, of course there are no special dangers, but there is a danger if the child gets to some incompetent coach. But all our coaches are professionals, so it’s not scary to bring children to us, and it’s necessary. They constantly take exams, improve their qualifications, take courses, that is, they work with children and with professionals. Last year, our school became the champion in athletics among all sports schools. Among the younger boys, the first place, among the older ones – the second, these are quite high team-wide indicators. The school is open, and the children go with pleasure. – Despite the fact that in March there will be another championship of Kazakhstan in Shymkent in throwing and long distances, I would like to hear your opinion about the winter season? What is worth working on? – This season, the flu epidemic has greatly shaken the health of our athletes. Therefore, many people did not approach the starts in the best shape, and I think because of this we have few champions of Kazakhstan. We are second and third in prizes. It is gold, for example, that only the older boys have in the relay, although, of course, an average level is observed with each performance. Athletes need to get together, especially since the summer season is coming soon, they need to perform well. This time we performed modestly, but we can do better. It’s such a passing season, there are no World or Asian Championships right now, so we didn’t get in great shape. We need to push harder in the summer, because our main goal is the Asian Youth Championship and the World Cup. – Are there any athletes who show hopes of becoming a star of big sports? – Yes, there is, but it’s better not to tell them about it (laughs). Children may have a sense of exclusivity, and there is already pride, and then the results in sports fall sharply. – Now you have the opportunity to address the residents of East Kazakhstan region! – Go in for sports, send your children to athletics. Even if a child does not become a champion, then sport will give him something to live for anyway. The ability to overcome difficulties, endure, achieve your goals, there is such an understanding that “Only through hard work can you achieve something.” You need to come, work, achieve results, because only work can give a lot. We worked hard for Olga to win at

The results of the III International competitions for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova

Kazakhstani athletes managed to take all the prizes in the final 400 m race. The 400 m running became the starting competition, and according to its results, only Kazakhstani athletes were on the podium among both men and women. Andrey Skolov from Almaty became the champion of the men’s race, David Efremov finished after him, and Igor Kondratiev turned out to be the third. The women’s prize-winners included Marina Zaiko, Merzen Ishanguliyeva and Karaganda athlete Lyubov Ushakova. Men: 1. Andrey Sokolov (Kazakhstan) – 48.35 2. David Efremov (Kazakhstan) – 48.45 3. The two best jumpers of Kazakhstan, Regina Kaisarova and Nadezhda Dubovitskaya, competed for the title of “best” again, but now at International competitions. They were accompanied by a track and field athlete from Uzbekistan Safina Sadullayeva, who actually became the third. As we remember, in the last Kazakhstan winter Athletics championships Dubovitskaya jumped Kaisarova by 3 cm, and overcame a height of 180 cm, winning the title of champion. But this time both girls “took” a height of 180 cm, but Kaisarova still needed fewer attempts than Nadezhda Dubovitskaya. High jump: 1. Regina KAISAROVA (Kazakhstan) – 180 cm 2. Nadezhda DUBOVITSKAYA (Kazakhstan) – 180 cm 3. Safina Sadullayeva (Uzbekistan) – 170 cm Imanmadi Kusmanov is among the winners of the International Tournament for O. Rypakova prizes In the 800 m race, Kazakhstani athletes shared the prizes among themselves. Only athletes from Kazakhstan managed to compete in such a competition as the 800 m run. The only foreign participant was Andranik Matinyan from Georgia, who did not take any of the prizes. The winners won, as they say, in the class, but they did it in different ways. Tatiana led almost the entire race and finished in proud solitude, and Sergey Zaikov jumped out from behind the family member Imanmadi Kusmanov in the very last meters of the race. Running 800 m. East Kazakhstan athlete Magzhan Zhakypbekov managed to finish third with a score of 185 cm.  The athlete was only 5 cm short of the second place. High jump: 1. Roman Loshkarev (Kazakhstan) – 220 cm A source: vksport.kz

Athletics House of Friendship of Peoples

A day before the long-awaited International Athletics Competitions, a press conference was held with foreign athletes. Despite the fact that a considerable number of athletes from other countries have arrived, last year’s participants also appear on the lists. One of these is Victoria Zyabkina, who last year, unfortunately, stopped 0.01 seconds from the record of Kazakhstan, but at the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan she still set this result thanks to her efforts. This time, Victoria does not set herself any specific result. – As it is destined to be, so it will be, – the record holder of Kazakhstan believes. – This is a holiday that people enjoy. Year after year we come here, to this big athletics house. This is our only house in the whole of Kazakhstan, which, thanks to the Rypakov family, everyone now has. For the second year in a row, guests from Azerbaijan Hakim Ibrahimov and Arif Abbasov have come to these competitions, but this time another athlete from this country Ekaterina Sarieva came with them, who will compete in the triple jump. But the Azerbaijani athlete Hakim Ibrahimov, who is experienced in these competitions, became the winner in 2016, and even set a competition record in the 800 m run. – To be honest, I myself only recently found out that I set a record. Literally, I read it on the Internet a month ago (smiles). As for last year, then I competed in the 800 m, and this year I will compete in the 400 m, but if I manage to assemble the relay, I will also participate in it, while we have only two guys. Representatives of Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Belarus came to us for the first time, and also shared their impressions a little. – This is an amazing arena, – Nigina Sharipova from Uzbekistan. – There are no such structures where I come from. Therefore, winter is a failure for me. Foreign athletes share such serious experiences with us, and at the same time admire the fact that it was Ust-Kamenogorsk that opened a second wind for winter starts. The highlight of our meeting was still the guests from Malaysia Nadia Noor and Kirtana Ramasamy. For these girls, the invitation to take part in International competitions for the prizes of Olga Rypakova became special, if only because the athletes had to fly from warm Kuala Lampur to cold Ust-Kamenogorsk. Everything is new to athletes: the country, the competitions, and even the snow. After all, in the capital of Malaysia, at a temperature of +20 in February, it is unlikely that you will ever see such precipitation. Kirtana, like Olga Rypakova, performs in the triple jump, and the athlete shared her emotions with the audience. – We were invited through the coach. And this is very important for us. It was the first time I saw Olympic champion Olga Rypakova live, but I had heard a lot about her. My personal best is 13.31 m, but of course I would really like to break my personal record and show myself. The second representative of Malaysia, Nadia Noor, will jump in length. – If luck turns to face me, then I will take the first place, – Nadia expressed hope. – We do not have such arenas in Malaysia, so I will have to perform indoors for the first time in my career. It will be a great experience for me. We knew that it was cold here, and it was very good that the competitions were not held outside (laughs). This is the first time we’ve seen snow, and it’s very interesting for us. On such a pleasant note, our meeting with foreign representatives ended. Olga Rypakova presented gifts to our guests and took photos with them as a keepsake. Inna Semenyak A source: vksport.kz

Olga Rypakova: “The upcoming tournament is a celebration of sports”

On February 17, in Ust-Kamenogorsk, on the eve of the III International Athletics Competitions for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova, a meeting was held with the organizers of this event and its participants The press conference was held in a rather warm atmosphere, and we were able to communicate directly with the athletes, ask them questions about their sports careers that interest not only us, and get to know the guests better. Denis Rypakov, the organizers of this competition, and Olga Rypakova, the 2012 Olympic champion herself, were also present. Olga expressed her gratitude to the visiting guests, and wished good luck to the athletes, and also answered our correspondent’s questions. – Olga, tell me, how will this start differ from the previous one? And who is helping you with the organization? And how willing are the partners to get in touch? – I would like to thank all those who help there. Kazzinc provided us with great support, the Akimat of the East Kazakhstan region, the AirAstana aviation company, Samruk Kazyna. In fact, there are a huge number of people who responded to help us hold these competitions so that they would be colorful and interesting. The difference in the starts may be that new faces, new athletes have arrived. We already have the experience of holding these competitions. We took into account some mistakes, shortcomings in the past, and tried to fix them. The Department of Physical Culture and Sports of East Kazakhstan Region helps us with the organization of the opening – it will be more extensive. – What makes you take part in the organization of this tournament, because this is a large number of problems that need to be solved very carefully. Where do you get your strength from? Moreover, you are also going to compete at the 2020 Olympic Games. – Why are we doing this? Firstly, so that we in Kazakhstan already have our own international competitions, grand Prix, etc. They are available in every country, and we also want Kazakhstan to have such interesting competitions, where athletes from other countries come.  Maybe even promote your country (laughs) so that more people know about us. We get ideas where I perform, Denis Sergeevich and I also go to various competitions, we really like the organization, and the atmosphere in general. She is very positive, very positive, these are not competitions where results and records are required. They just come here to show themselves, to look at others, to compete. It’s a celebration of sports. I also want our country to have such a holiday. We attract as many people as possible. I just want it to be a holiday. Also, to help our athletes financially, this is motivation, because not everyone can travel outside the country. Inna Semenyak A source: vksport.kz

The East Kazakhstan Region national team, alas, could not field a relay team in the women’s part of the competition. Unfortunately, there was no one to replace the injured Elina Mikhina from Ridder. The men’s team was let down by a hitch during the first relay transfer. Vladislav Sutyagin and Vitaly Licenberger could not work synchronously, as a result of which the gap between the rivals became noticeable. At the last stage of the East Kazakhstan Region national team, Vladislav Leshin, the champion of Kazakhstan in the 200 m race of 2015, ran, who managed to win back almost 20 meters of the gap, but the East Kazakhstan Region national team still finished second in its race. Unfortunately, this race did not become the strongest in terms of speed, and our four remained without a medal.
