The Federation informs that in connection with the planned training of athletes of National National teams to participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan has taken quarantine measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among national teams. Since the Central Stadium of Almaty is an accredited sports facility, it will be provided by the National Athletics Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the period from July 5 to July 20, 2021. It is prohibited to hold all sports events during the specified period. For this reason, it is not possible to hold the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among junior boys and girls, as well as the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan among Juniors (July 2-4) on the previously approved dates. Results of the national team of East Kazakhstan region after the second day of the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in athletics. The national team of East Kazakhstan region continues to perform brilliantly at the Championship of the Republic in athletics. Two of our athletes fulfilled licenses that allowed them to perform in international competitions on the second day of the competition. Nadezhda Dubovitskaya received a license for the Olympic Games in Tokyo and set an Asian record in the high jump with a result of 2.00 m.
