Next to her, at the competition, was the athlete’s personal trainer Pavel Ivanovich Kukin, who shared what was happening in Almaty. – We are pleased with our result. Nastya had already shown similar results in training, but the main thing was to perform them during the competition. Despite the fact that there is not so much competitive practice, it is not always possible to give such a result, but nevertheless it turned out to show similar ones. In April, at the East Kazakhstan Region championship on April 20-21, Kaloshina showed a result of 55.55 m, at these – 55.25 m. Even it is very difficult to mentally tune in to the start, but this time the athlete quickly pulled herself together, and the throwing sector in Almaty is very convenient, which cannot be said about Shymkent, from where athletes have recently arrived. – Competitive practice is bearing fruit, – Pavel noted. – We have already scattered, we are used to competitive stress, and Nastya finds it easier to get ready for the start every time. Vitaly Licenberger, of course, is a famous athlete, a multiple winner of the Championship of Kazakhstan, but in a completely different discipline – the barrier sprint! So his result – 6.7 m – was somewhat shocking, as was his victory. Alexey Ponomarev from Borodulikhinsky district, who is a specialized long jumper, initially looked like the favorite here. The competition program was crowned by a mixed relay of 4 to 200 m. Two men and two women spoke for each city and district. The Ust-Kamenogorsk team was slightly inferior to Semey before the last stage, but as soon as Vladislav Leshin received the wand, everything fell into place. The long-legged Vladislav, using the advantage of stride length, easily bypassed Rinat Ultarakov and led our team to another victory. The young age of the championship participants does not mean that there was nothing interesting here. On the contrary, it is here that you can see real sports in all its glory – intrigue twisted to the limit, a huge number of participants, each of whom has already managed to prove himself at the national level, and, of course, sincere joy from victories, which is not always possible to see at competitions among adults. The reporting championship was held in Karaganda and became truly triumphant for East Kazakhstan athletes. Our national team became the second, second only to the owners of the stadium, and the number of medals won is so much that no article will be enough to tell about each of them. Separately, I would like to note the unconditional success of Ust-Kamenogorsk athlete Valeria Bromat. She is only 14 years old, and she was one of the youngest at this championship, but the miracle girl eventually won three championship titles at once, winning victories in the 100 m, long jump and as part of the 4-100 m relay together with Maria Sukhorukova, Elina Ustinovich and Olga Pulyaeva from Ridder in the composition! In addition, Bromat also became a bronze medalist, finishing third in the 4200 m relay, where she was again helped by Sukhorukova, Ustinovich and another Ridder pupil Maria Iskendirova! But Arina Gladysheva, a 12-year-old girl from Ridder, plunged fans of this sport and specialists into even greater shock. This miracle excelled in the most grueling 1000 m and 2000 m races, eventually winning two championship titles! In total, the East Kazakhstan Region national team has 9 awards of the highest dignity, and more than half of them went to two of our little superstars. Four more triumphs were won by Elena Trontova from the village of Belousovka in the shot put, Elnur Zhumabekov from Ust-Kamenogorsk in the pole vault, and two more “golds” are associated with the name of Andrei Ignatikov. On June 2, the Altay jumping party took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk on the central square of the Republic. No matter what anyone says, but pole vaulting is the most spectacular kind of athletics, and if they are held outdoors, it is doubly so. Yesterday, for the first time in Kazakhstan, pole vaulting took place on the central square, where the most active residents of Ust-Kamenogorsk came to watch the competition. Seven athletes, including foreign jumpers, one representative each from Turkey, Belarus and Ukraine, came to the administrative center of East Kazakhstan Region to support these very young starts. Impressions went off scale not only among athletes and spectators, but also among the organizers of this holiday themselves. The head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of East Kazakhstan Region made a welcoming speech Askar Mozhanov, noting that these competitions are being held for the first time.
