Karaganda athlete Milana Zubareva, Almaty athlete Margarita Kosinova, Pavlodar athlete Maria Zinevich, and Ust-Kamenogorsk representative Sofia Kidenko competed for Team Kazakhstan in the women’s 4×400 m relay and won the silver medal.
Throughout the race, the team maintained a strong pace and remained in contention for a podium finish until the final straight. The Kazakh quartet clocked 3:43.63 to secure second place.
The gold medal was won by Team India, while the bronze medals went to athletes from Hong Kong.
