According to data obtained by our portal from the East Kazakhstan Region (EKR) Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the Olympic participants from our region will arrive in Ust-Kamenogorsk on August 30.
Evgeniy Labutov, Ekaterina Smirnova, Elina Mikhina, Olga Rypakova, Irina Smolnikova, and Denis Ulanov. These athletes represented our region at the Olympic Games with varying degrees of success. On August 30, they will receive awards from the Akim (Governor) of the EKR, Danial Akhmetov.
This significant day will begin with the arrival of Olga Rypakova; as a reminder, she can be greeted at the Ust-Kamenogorsk airport at 8:30 AM. Following this, a triumphant procession through the city is planned, including a “pit stop” near the Metallurgists’ Palace of Culture.
The main events will take place at Republic Square at 11:00 AM, where the official award ceremony for our athletes will be held.
