On September 27–28, 2025, the Olga Rypakova Athletics Center hosted the Open Ust-Kamenogorsk City Athletics Championship, dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Over the course of two days, competitions were held in running events from 60 to 3000 meters, relays, long jump, high jump, pole vault, triple jump, as well as shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer throw.
Boys and girls took part in the championship, with finals held in most disciplines. At the end of each day, award ceremonies were held for the winners and prize-winners.
