From May 15 to 17 in Almaty city took place the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in track and field athletics among senior boys and girls (U18). Competitions gathered the strongest young athletes of the country, and representatives of the East Kazakhstan region (EKR) again confirmed the high level of their preparation.
Especially confident East Kazakhstan showed themselves in the all-around.
Omirzak Askar set a new record of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the all-around, scoring 6631 points in all disciplines.
Among the girls won Victoria Klimantseva, who scored 4605 points and fulfilled the standard for the title of Candidate Master of Sports.
