Congratulations on the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan!
Republic Day was declared a national holiday in October 1995, and has not been celebrated since 2009. However, in 2022, at the initiative of the country’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, he was given back the status of a national holiday.
“Republic Day should become a symbol of the country’s bold step towards statehood. Of course, the original meaning of Independence Day will be preserved. This day remains the main national holiday. However, it should be celebrated as the day of remembrance of our national heroes who made a significant contribution to gaining independence,” the President noted.
In honor of the holiday, a race on the mountain “Kazakhstan” – “OSKEMEN RUN” will take place at 11:00
